I would not recommend. Small project, one slider, one picture window and one door took seven months to complete. Always some one else’s fault not theirs according to management and some customer service. Will not take responsibility. Indirectly called me lier because they didn’t want to hear what one of employees said. Told us our problems were insignificant and nothing to worry about

In 2021 we had a large custom hurricane impact window replaced with a smaller one and now the walls they installed around it are separating from the original wall. Due to the smaller size of the new window, the opening needed to be filled in. Instead of block (like the rest of the wall), they installed wood framing (2 ½ ft) on either side of the window. We initially refused, sent the guys home, and called the office. We were told it would be another 8 months to resubmit for the new job. Meanwhile we had large holes on either side of the new window that would be left exposed during hurricane season while we waited. It had already taken 8 months for the initial installation. So we reluctantly proceeded. We applied concrete sealant over the exterior, however the wall started cracking on the inside and outside 3 months after the job, WeatherTite came out and caulked it. But it started to crack again soon after and now it appears to be buckling on the inside. WeatherTite is telling us that it just needs to be painted and it isn’t structurally a problem because the county approved the plans. Not sure how paint is going to structurally prevent the wall from further slipping. The only resolution WeatherTite offered is applying drywall mud over the cracks on the interior. Absolutely not, that’s only a bandaid…just like the caulk they applied the first time it cracked. While the window itself is good, the installation is unacceptable and not worth the $7,800 we paid! So much for the company’s policy of “lifetime warranty on installations”.

We had a Terrible experience with Weathertite Windows. we replaced 13 windows in our house, Out of 13 windows we have 1 window that stained (weathertite said it was our water). We think it may be the screen we do not know. ( the other windows that were installed are not like this one). We notified weathertite right away and they sent someone to clean the window with no success, we call weathertite, they accused us of using chemicals on the window, when in fact it was their technician not us that went to Home Depot to buy window cleaner. It's been 1 year and the window is the same, see below photo. Our old previous windows of at least 25 years old, Did not stain they cleaned easy and looked good. (they were old) We have contacted weathertite several times, even left a message for the owner and the guy on TV they never returned our call. Soon after we gave up requesting them to correct our window, due to us having a young death in the family. Of course they will say we are out of warranty, it took weatertite about 6 months plus to install windows, 1window cracked, we had to wait another 6 weeks to replace the cracked one in our bedroom. Please go to a window company that is more experienced and take care of their customers.

a10/11/2021 - $1300 down payment. NO zero down interest free offer. 11/24 - Sent HOA approval to commence install. 12/13 - Email from Aubrey "manufacturer deliver products mid- May" 5/4/2022 - Chirp Chirp. No status from Weather Tite. Requested update. 5/5 - Aubrey forwarded to Elsa 05/24 - Elsa email "expecting product delivery and ready for install by end of June" 06/22 - Elsa forwarded my status update email to "upper mgt" 06/22 - Upper Mgt said on "calendar for end of August" 07/21 - VM from Adriane scheduled install 4 Aug/pre-inspection 5 Aug Another 2 months of delays only response was continue to blame sub contractors, installers and now Largo building inspector. 09/22 - $3,328 final payment with no discount or apologies for 11 month delay except "some have waited over a year"?? That made me feel good. All this time, Michael increased his advertising on several local channels promising quality work and knowingly and willingly contributing to existing backlog. No alternative plans for suppliers or incentives to PGT to deliver on time. Look at the picture. Installer was so lazy failed to remove blind brackets but did extra work to trim window framing leaving over 2 inch gap long 1 inch wide! Framed it before building inspection complete. Stated the method of install with screws did not require inspector final approval?? Want more? Read the negative BBB reviews posted by customers... not the "testimonals" posted ONLY by Weather Tite employees I have something for Michael and it is not cookies!!

They took 10 months to finally install the windows and doors. Excuses for delay of 4 months were legendary. When finally installed, several issues were found. Horrible mess left on one entry door location, and a damaged glass panel on a patio door as well. Three months later, I still have no resolution for the flawed door, but after two trips, the entry door is finally resolved. The latest delay, indicated no glass was available and would have to be postponed another time. However, I personally saw the glass, and was witness to it's condition and location. Once again lies where the truth would sound better.

Buyer Beware!! I am very unhappy with the service I received from WeatherTite Windows. It took almost 13 MONTHS to get our project completed. I realize we are dealing with unprecedented supply chain issues, but the way this company handled the process, expectations and communications was beyond horrible and I feel I was misled throughout the entire process. Because of the numerous issues on this project, I requested a discount and was offered $200, but only if I agreed to non-disclosure restrictions. So for less than 1% of the cost of the project, I was going to forfeit my right to any comment/opinion. I declined their offer. Below is a brief timeline of the process: • On January 4, 2021, we purchased 8 windows and a slider and paid a significant deposit. The contract stated installation would be done a "minimum of 15 weeks" from date of measurement • September 20-21, 2021 (almost 35 weeks from the date of measurement) 7 windows and the slider were installed (and additional money paid). I was told that one window was broken in transit and it would be installed in a few weeks • On November 10, 2021, after weeks of excuses, I contacted the Corporate Office to see if I could get a resolution and was told it would be taken care of • On December 29, 2021 the final window was installed. Over 12 weeks after installation • January 5, 2022 Sarasota County inspected the windows • January 31, 2022 the final installation service was performed. So for over FOUR MONTHS I had to live with stickers on the windows and pieces of plastic laying around my house

I have never been a fan of negative reviews, however, I feel this one is completely warranted. This is our second purchase with Weather Tite as we chose to break up the hurricane windows and doors as they were so expensive. On the most recent project, we were told we would have to live with plywood (see photo) on the largest window in the front of our house for 12-15 weeks, when they ripped the old window out without checking the new one first. The new one was damaged on the bottom sill and could not be installed. Here are our 3 primary complaints: 1. A integrity check of the new windows, BEFORE ripping out the existing window could have prevented this issue. 2. The lack of communication and transparency from Weather Tite after the issue has left us feeling that it was not important to them. Whether it was there intent or not, we should not have to chase them for updates. - The installers indicated we would hear from the Installation Manager on Monday, to give them a few days. We waited and were never contacted by anyone, so we had to follow up. - Additionally, stucco services were required for a couple of our other windows and the installers said the office would contact us with a date for it. We did not receive a call about it AND when we inquired about the stucco they said we needed to call to schedule that separately. They need to clean up their internal communications. I would also imagine that most homeowners would assume that would automatically be set up as part of the installation by Weather Tite not a separate process since the installation is not complete until that is done. - Along the same lines, we signed the contract at the end of March 2021 and were told with all of the manufacturing delays to not expect the installation until October maybe even in November. We never received a call in October or November with a status update. When I called in early December, I was told they were not in and they would have to check the upcoming Friday delivery. Then before Friday, I got a call saying they were in and they could put us on the schedule for the end of December. So which was it? The windows were sitting in their inventory waiting for me to call or the person checking the status was mistaken? 3. The oversold their relationship with PGP. We spent over 20K with Weather Tite on our 2 orders and for them not to have a process or ability to expedite a window that was either defective or broken in transit is worrisome. For windows, we were told that PGP is their sole vendor so it makes it seem they do not to have a true partnership with PGP.

our sales rep Josh is really pleasant and professional. Pricing was in line with other companies. The wait was very long. The installation team was outstanding. They were on time, hard working and very knowledgeable. I would have been an A score but..... The door came unpainted which we knew. However after installation when we started painting the door, we discovered 4 areas on the door that had small to medium imperfections in the door itself. Also one of the trim corners has a sizable gap in the 45 degree cut. Probably can be caulked to hide it but at this price we expected the door to be flawless. Note to potential buyers, carefully inspect before you allow an installation. Not to company, you should offer painted or unpainted options. We would rehire!

Greatest decision ever! The installers were polite, professional and took immense pride in their work. They were willing to work with me while I had other water damage repair completed on my home. Mr. Malanowski was especially helpful and went out of his way to assist in any way he could. They left the area clean, were extremely polite and helpful in all ways. I also thank Mr. Malin in customer support for his kind words.

The window installers, Richard, Felix and Mario did an excellent job of installing our windows. They were efficient, courteous, worked around our pets and most importantly, did a great job of cleaning up post-installation. I would highly recommend Weather Tite Windows and especially these 3 installers!

Terrible, the installers were sub-contracted out, their install was not to Sarasota Building Code, they leaked profusely and had to be uninstalled. Still not satisfied and ended up having new windows installed by another company. Still waiting on Weather Tite for some satisfaction, almost a 8 months now. And I am trying to stay civil in my review, but this has been a complete joke

Best decision ever!!! We have over 30 windows and just the thought of having to put up the shutters every time we might get a hurricane just killed us!! My husband has a horrible back due to military and well his health of worth it!!! Best investment ever!! We can tell how much our electric bill has gone down, we saved on insurance AND the peace of mind we have when we think about any possible hurricane or any possible break in!! Good luck getting in!! Then when they were replacing the windows we noticed water damage from the old windows!!! Can you imagine what type of damage we would of had to fix in 3/5 years!??? So we are nothing but super happy with our new windows!! Our marketing director Ross Mallin is amazing and super professional. The installation was super smooth and would 100% recommend Weathertite Windows!!!

The initial sales presentation by Grant was thorough and very professional. The installers did a great job, and the windows seem to be excellent. However, service through the office is lousy. Our windows were almost a month late over the date we were promised. Scheduling installation was like pulling teeth, despite the fact that we told Grant and everyone else that we had a deadline and some calendar issues. Getting calls back from Allison in service was difficult. The company has, obviously, NOT planned for the demand for their product. We expected to wait up 4 months for our windows, it was 5. Both are absurd. I hope if we have an lifetime warranty issues that they are honored.

Always get at least three price quotes but remember your dealing with sales people. NEVER accept the first or second price. Just like car shopping there is always a better price. Wather Tite salesman (Josh) was very professional and not high pressured. It takes at least three months to get the windows made after ordering(business is good). The installers(Jim and Jason) were very good and fairly neat. Weather Tite does ALL the paperwork, permits and rebates. Once the windows are in and inspected and paid for things slow down. Trim work(can't be done until after inspection) took almost 3 weeks and TICO rebate forms took several weeks also. But all in all, they did a very good job and I would use them again.

I just couldn't have been happier with the work done by Weather Tite Windows!!! I usually get quotes from one or two more Companies when I'm spending this kind of money, but I was so impressed from our First Meeting with Ross that I was hiring the right company, that I never even called any others. And I haven't second-guessed my decision whatsoever!!!!!! This company just couldn't have been more outstanding!!! From our first meeting with Ross, to the wonderful people in the office who set up my Measurements, Installation, and my Inspection. they just were just WONDERFUL!!! They were so courteous, helpful, punctual, and were so cooperative in helping me schedule my appointments on my only two days off. Adrian, Lawren, and Natelie were especially helpful in setting up my appointments and promptly returning my phone calls and e-mails. And the Installers did a GREAT!!!!! job and even asked me what room I wanted to have done first so I wouldn't be inconvenienced!!! I would recommend Weather Tite Windows in a HEARTBEAT!!!! This is one of the finest group of people I've ever worked with!!! and our windows are BEAUTIFUL and I will have peace of mind now knowing we won't have to go to a shelter when the next Hurricane comes our way. I love the fact that I won't have to worry about taking shutters up and down and we won't lose our access to the "outside world" in a storm like we would have with shutters. Thank you Weather Tite Window Company!!!!!

Unfortunately we didn't get one of the better installation crews and repairs are needed. Outside caulking was not done properly and has to be redone. Another window will need to be reinstalled. Some glass had scratches and will need replacing. But we have been assured that everything will be taken care of. Hopefully they will keep their word.

I think that the pricing could have been better. I like the pgt windows, which is onexactly of the reasons for choosing them. I thought they had all their own employees do installs, only to find out that they too like many others sub contract the install. this is where I had issues. the caulking on the windows was horrible In my opinion and several windows appeared to be bowing on the bottom. they came out several times to heat tge vinyl and trim some for better fit. had a bad glass replaced on a window, they were very good at replacing this. they have been very good at keeping appointments and staying in contact.
