to the blockage. We were so glad the repair was complete and clean up was done.

"The Clean Plumber made an appointment for the next day, showed up on time, brought the proper equipment, and snaked the drain for a reasonable price. The job was guaranteed for 30 days. When a subsequent back-up occurred, the technician came back the following day, re-snaked the line, and cleaned it again. We have had no further blockages. Thanks"

"Very professional, located and handled the issue with our sump pump drain line blockage within hrs. But not only that then went the extra mile to prevent the blockage from ever occurring again in the future and making a whole new drain line above ground so it doesnâ t get blocked with mud with the Florida rain. The gentleman Marty is very service oriented and has a very high care factor."

"Mark came out and took a look at a section of my current flower bed that contained flowers that were very unattractive that I wished to replace.  I also had him to check out a heavily shaded area that did not allow grass to grow; I wanted to replace the dead grass with mulch and plants that could survive in shade.  Mark took down the necessary info and emailed his recommendations later the same day.  We agreed on the plant selection and an install date.  Mark called the day before the install date to confirm the appointment.  He and his assistant arrived early on the actual date.  They did a great job with the removal of the unwanted flowers and dead grass.  The new plants and fresh mulch look lovely in the bed.  Mark did a good job with the selection; the plants give the front of my house much better curb appeal.

"Our sprinkler system was 30 years old and had multiple issues that needed repair. Chris gave us a clear choice of 3 options we could have done. We elected to have a new system installed. Chris was a very hard worker and did a thorough and excellent job. The price was very good and we are happy with the new system."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, sewage smells can originate from a floor drain. If the P-Trap in the floor drain dries out or if there's a clog or other issue in the plumbing system, sewer gasses can escape through the drain, causing nasty odors. Regularly pouring water into the drain helps maintain the water seal and prevent those smells, but if the smell persists, you should have a plumbing professional inspect the drain for potential problems.

A bit of water in the bowl can help unclog a toilet, especially if you're using a plunger. However, if the bowl is full to the brim, you'll need to strap on gloves and remove some of the wastewater in a cup or container so it doesn't overflow when you try to unblock the pipe. If you're concerned about it filling further, manually close the flapper in the toilet tank or turn off the water supply to the toilet.

Yes, flushing a clogged toilet can make it overflow. While flushing the toilet may push enough pressure through the system to dislodge the clog, this is unlikely. Your best bet is to use a plunger and hope the suction can break up whatever is blocking the pipe. If this doesn’t work, use a plumbing auger or call a pro to help.

Bleach isn’t likely to help unclog a sewer line. Bleach isn’t useful in this situation because it won’t dissolve the grime and debris in the clog. Instead, you want to use ingredients that will have a chemical reaction to clear out the buildup, like vinegar or salt and baking soda.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.
