J &J Plumbing was excellent! They scheduled my service quickly, arrived on time, and finished the job much sooner than I expected. They were knowledgeable and professional and gave me advice on how to handle my new faucet. Even though they were there to work on a kitchen faucet installation, they were even kind enough to take a look at and advise me on a water pressure issue I was having in my bathroom. I would definitely hire them again.

I have a beautiful new hose faucet, and who says a faucet is beautiful, in a higher position so that little old me doesn't have to crawl under the house. I have provided a photo of the project. Thanks again Angie, who ever you are.

The was fixed They fixed the leak and suggested that we replace our twenty yr. old faucet.The new faucet was installed two days later. This was all done efficiently,and we're very helpful in describing what kind of new faucet we would need to fit in our sink.They were punctual pleasant ,neat and clean

A joint in the washing machine drain pipe was spewing water. Called Jay at 1:50 and he said he was was finishing a job nearby and could be here in the next hour and a half. He was here by 2:30. Drain pipe was the original, and although the garage has a lot of stuff stored in it at the moment, and there isn't a lot of space, he got to the problem and fixed it in 30 minutes. He was polite, helpful, and efficient. Used him once before and will continue to use him.

Water Heater was leaking, called around and got some pretty high prices for a 30 gallon Water Heater install. Had seen J&R's van in our neighborhood, so I gave them a call. John and his crew were out within an hour. Not only did they do an amazing job, but he changed out my washing machine shut off valves as they were old and looked like they were starting to leak. He also installed a catch pan, so if my elevated water heater ever leaked in the future, it would not drip on everything below. He did all this for no extra charge. Highly recommend!!!

Fixed and working fine.

I was unable to repair shutoff valve myself. It turned out valve was welded and had to be sweated off. Jay was not only punctual, but early. He took one look and got to work. He was very quick and efficient. He replaced the old (1960s-era) valve with a quarter-turn compression valve, which I had seen recommended a number of places. He also replaced the old toilet supply line and even older pipe flange. Jay is very personable and his work is excellent. I will definitely use him again.

Jay called Monday morning to give us a two hour time window later that day. My wife ending up being at the house for him. He was on time and worked with her very well. She said he was awesome and very helpful, caring and friendly. He recognized another drain problem and fixed that while he was there. He worked fast and efficiently and the price was fair considering how much time he spent there.

Jay assessed the best way to repair a leak that was found by a leak detection company. He provided his best professional assessment and a very fair price. The work was quality, done on time, and fixed the problem.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. They came in and snaked the drain pipe and all was better in a matter of minutes. I have some upcoming work that needs to be done and will certainly be hiring J & J again!

Jay is a very honest and very professional plumber. He got the job done and at a very reasonable price. The professionalism started from the minute I called the company and made my appointment. I was given an actual appointment time not an appointment "window". Jay arrived on time when he came to look at the problem. He gave me an estimate which was reasonable and began working right away. He didn't have one of the parts needed so he had to come back another day. He later texted me to let me know the part was delayed and apologized and told me the date and time he would return. Again he was punctual when he returned. Then he completed the job. The whole thing took 1 hr the first day and 30 minutes the next day. I had called another Angie's list company before J & J. That company gave me a 3 hour window from noon to 3pm for the plumber to arrive and he still didn't show up until 4:39pm. He told me my faucets was beyond repair and they had to be REPLACED and he would have to knock out a wall to replace the bathroom one. He quoted me $875 dollars to do both the bath and kitchen faucets. I was all set to use the company because I had purchased a $200 off coupon for $79 from Angie's list for this company. I made the appointment for the plumber to come the next day and he never showed up. The office said he was on another job that was taking until "the wee hours of the morning" but he said he was in the hospital. I rescheduled that guy for another day and again the company cancelled this time because the wrong part came in. That's 3 strikes! So I got fed up...got my coupon fee refunded and called Jay. Thank God for Jay. He fixed the stems of the bathtub and replaced the O-ring in the kitchen. Both fixed the leaks and cost way less than the REPLACEMENT the other company insisted I needed. Oh and by the way...A third Angie's list company I had called...didn't even come out to look at the problem. That Company told me over the phone that my bathtub fixtures needed replacing and it would be $675...imagine that? Diagnosing and quoting a fee without even seeing the problem. FOLKS DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY USING ANY OTHER COMPANY. Don't be fooled by the fancy trucks and uniforms...Just call J&J Plumbing. They are honest, professional, punctual and very reasonable compared to the other companies.

I was very impressed with J & J Plumbing. When Jay and AJ arrived, they both took off their shoes at the door without me even having to ask, so that they wouldn't track anything onto my beige carpets. That alone is rare these days! They were friendly, chatted with my 2 year old, even waited in their truck when I had to run down the street to pick up my 6 year old from the school bus stop and then met me again at the front door when I returned a few minutes later. They did a great job and even cleaned up after themselves by refolding a blanket I had laid out on the floor for padding and wiped up the little water that spilled on the floor. Sometimes it is the little things that sets a company above another. Jay returned each of my calls to the answering service within 5 minutes each time and I definitely would recommend this company to others.

He came out and said I needed new parts. He had promised he'd be back in five days. It took him ten days to get back to me on the parts and he just sort of appeared on my doorstep one morning without telling me he was coming. He put in a part, one which does not properly operate to this day, and he would not honor my Angie's List discount, saying "I already gave you a low price." He also had a really crummy attitude the whole time. He just wanted to sell me a new toilet.

Very good. This is the 3rd time we use Jay's plumbing service, Jay and his team did excellent job on all those jobs!
