"After many quotes on this job. I found Stewart from Floor Designs to be was the most professional representative. Stewart arranged for 3 samples to of the carpet to be shipped from Mohawk Carpet so that we could see the color in our home. We had a few companies come to our home to give us quotes and found them to be very high pressure salesmen. Stewart by njo meas was a high pressure salesman. He gave us by far the best prices and was able to schedule my install on the day that we requested. Floor Designs team of installers were also professional, neat and fast. I would recommend Floor Designs and Stewart in particular to anyone who is looking for any type of flooring,"

"Highly recommend this company. Our house was built in 2020 and the hardwoods were installed by TPA Hardwood Flooring Systems during the build. Unfortunately, due to problems with excess moisture the floors buckled in one area of the dining room. When we bought our house, it was purchased â as isâ meaning the builder and contractors had no obligation to come back and fix any issues. Our builder connected us with Eddie, the owner of TPA Hardwood. Not only did Eddie agree to repair the buckled flooring, but he also sanded down and refinished all of the flooring in the main area of our home. This was a 5 day job that required new flooring, and at least 40 hours of labor. Eddie not only covered the cost of the material, but also covered the labor. I offered to cover the cost of material and he wouldnâ t allow it. They have completed the repair and refinishing of our floors (5 full days of work with multiple guys) and the house looks brand new again. Companies like this are incredibly hard to come by. I would truly recommend Eddie and TPA Hardwood Flooring Systems to anybody looking to repair, refinish, or install hardwood floors. We are so grateful for all of their hard work and integrity. Thank you Eddie!"

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

In Spring Hill, homeowners are embracing luxury vinyl plank and waterproof laminate for their ability to handle frequent humidity and occasional storms. Wide-plank flooring and driftwood-inspired finishes are especially popular, reflecting the area’s coastal influence. Many choose soft gray and sand tones to brighten interiors, while textured surfaces and mixed-width patterns add visual interest and help hide everyday wear from sandy shoes or pets.

Helpful?

New flooring in Spring Hill offers immediate benefits like a fresher look, easier cleaning after storms, and improved indoor air quality. Over time, you’ll enjoy lower maintenance needs, better resistance to humidity and pests, and a boost in home value. Using moisture-resistant materials can also help with insurance and provide peace of mind, making your home more comfortable and appealing for years to come.

Helpful?

After your flooring installation in Spring Hill, save all warranties, care instructions, and before-and-after photos for reference. Keep copies of any permits, compliance documents, and records of moisture barrier installation. Tracking humidity levels and maintaining receipts for professional cleanings or repairs can support insurance claims. Updating your home inventory with details about your new flooring is also a smart step, especially in areas prone to flooding.

Helpful?

For Spring Hill’s humid conditions, keep a dehumidifier and a moisture meter to monitor your flooring’s environment. Microfiber mops, pH-neutral floor cleaners, and grout-safe products help prevent mold and mildew. Having floor fans on hand is useful after heavy rains, and rubber mats at entryways protect against tracked-in sand. Touch-up kits and extra cleaning supplies are especially helpful during hurricane season for quick maintenance.

Helpful?

In Spring Hill, homes with slab foundations or those built before 1980 may have hidden cracks or uneven surfaces that complicate flooring installation. Signs like persistent musty smells, uneven or bouncy floors, and visible water stains can indicate moisture issues. If your home has experienced flooding or sits in a low-lying area, a professional assessment for subfloor and moisture barrier needs is highly recommended before starting your flooring project.
