The work was sub contracted out, and it was not empire I was somewhat disappointed.

Empire was right on the money for what carpet should cost and they didn't try to upsell me for one of their more expensive carpet types. I'm only looking to cover basic needs for a couple years in a small part of my home. They listened and understood that I wasn't looking for anything past the basics. My technician called ahead and offered to show up early for the install if that fit my schedule. They also cleaned up after themselves and offered for me to keep a piece of the scrap just in case a section needed replaced later. Great experience.

Estimate, Customer Service, and Installation all were top notch.

They came out quick to give us a quote and start the job. The floors are beautiful and the warranty is priceless. The only thing is there sub contractors which i wish I knew and I wish they would?ve told us that they can?t caulk the bottom of the base boards on vinyl flooring, we had caps every where but they are fixing it this week, Thank god! Overall they are pretty good, just a bit expensive for sure.

Prompt, fast, and professional

Most of the work was good but some details are sloppy and look bad.

We bought hardwood floors. The sales rep said they can install it the very next day. That got us excited only to be told when the crew arrive they can do the floors but not the stairs. The lead installer told us after they began working they would be back in two weeks to finish the job. Once the crew finished installing the main part of the house he said they would probably come back the following day. He told me they had enough materials to do the stairs but they were not the crew to do it. So I called empire today and could not get a hold of anyone for two days. They transfer you to a voicemail message where no one calls you back. Then I called on Wednesday and spoke to a nice lady who said they could not complete the stairs as they did not have enough materials. They left my stairs case un finished and my wife almost sprain her foot as she missed a step. Emailed photos and have not heard anything from empire today. At this point, they can come and rip everything out and give me my money back.

The floors look great

Slightly higher priced than other companies but they did give me some discounts to get it closer and the work was top notch.

We were given to be believe there was a full crew coming but one man showed up. It took him two days But he did a good job. The floors look good.

Although replacing tile with wood flooring is a noisy, dusty job, the installers were cheerful, courteous, knowledgeable, and were done in two days. It was a big job.

Loved them

This team really went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We work with Empire many times and I was really impressed with this group. A couple of sliding closet doors needed to be replaced after the install and the pros worked really hard to make sure that our doors were re-ordered and put back in properly with no extra charges to us.
