My floor was damaged by water and had to be removed, the floor leveled before any new flooring could be installed. Not opposed to writing them – the reality is, since moving to Florida (part-time), I haven’t received that combination of superb results and first-rate customer service from any company that made writing anything worthwhile. I’m writing one for Yeager because their work was impeccable, customer service superb, and they carried out their work – from start to finish – with absolute honesty and integrity. We hired Yeager to paint the entire interior of our home (approximately 3500 sf) – top to bottom, floor to ceiling, and to install hardwood flooring throughout the entire first floor, and carpet in the bonus room on the second floor. When my wife walked in the door (we were away when Yeager completed the job), her jaw dropped to the floor. It soon became obvious that the home we had earlier this year put on the market to sell with plans to build a new home was going to be our forever home. With just paint and floors, our home had been transformed into something out of one of those Home and Garden magazines, or off of HGTV. Take my word for it: the paint lines are crisp and the flooring guys were meticulous and precise with their work, as if they were outfitting their own homes. Nobody walking in the front door would be able to tell the difference between Yeager’s work on my 15-year old property and a new build. Yes, it was that good. Even more important than the work, in many regards, was Jim Yeager’s and Mike Shorba’s involvement at every stage. They were honest, responsive, and operated with a sense of integrity that I’ve found to be rare in my nearly decade living in Florida – having experienced contractors who don’t show up, half-do the work, walk out on the job, and/or are unresponsive. Though I shopped around for nearly two years (including three bids from Yeager), we’re delighted to have found a company that operates the old-fashioned way, like the way we did things where I grew up in the Midwest. If you are contemplating Yeager, just pull the trigger. You will be glad you did. They will certainly be my go-to for future housing projects.- Marc S.

Yeager & Company IncExcellent from start to finish. Our sales rep, Mike, came to the house with samples based on our inputs from scheduling an online appointment. We selected the product we wanted and he measured, explained the installation process and left us with an estimate. We arranged financing through the company they dealt with that we also had an existing account with. Final contract was sent to us online, signed electronically by us and returned. We expected about 3 weeks but were pleasantly surprised when they were ready to schedule installation within one week. Installation crew was fantastic, arrived promptly on scheduled day, removed furniture and began demo of carpeting. Entire process took about 6 hours and crew cleaned up and moved furniture back before departing. Finished laminate flooring is beautiful and we will definitely use Yeager & Company for future projects we have on our wishlist.- Jack C.

Jeff was excellent at suggesting improvements to our bathroom shower, entrance and new vanity and cabinets. He offered excellent contractors that we used for new granite countertops for kitchen and bath areas. He also met us at Floor and Decor store and assisted our selection of new bathroom tile and flooring that was used to replace our ugly old carpet in our living room, dining room and hallway areas. Contractor coordinated scheduling of tile, cabinet, plumbing and countertop installations with all sub contractors selected for our project. I needed new floors in a 1930's stick construction house with a 1970's block construction addition that had been pieced together neglectfully over the decades. Alex proved to be polite, attentive, affable, professional, punctual, and meticulous throughout the entire process. We encountered some surprises when we removed the existing flooring, but Alex adapted his work deftly. He gives great attention to detail and holds his work to a high standard; which I found comforting as a homeowner. We hired Fernando’s M & T Tampa Flooring to install new tiles for our entire house. The work involved removing existing tiles, carpet and baseboards followed by installing new porcelain tiles and baseboard. These days it is not easy to find a company that delivers their service in such a manner that they exceed your expectation. Fernando and his team consistently exceeded our expectation from start to finish. We hired them because they have excellent reviews on Angie’s list, was prompt and responsive to our request for estimate and their pricing was competitive. M & T Flooring is a small owner-operated company. So you interact directly with the company owners, Fernando (and Marco). This itself made the communication very easy. Fernando and Marco together came to do the estimation, and they did all the tiling work with the help of one or two helpers. It was a major work and doing it while we were living in the home was no small endeavor, mainly because of the dust and noise involved. Nevertheless, Fernando was very considerate in planning and executing the work in such a way that caused minimum disturbance to us. They meticulously covered up all the areas and countertops and partitioned the work area into two sections with plastic sheets, so that they could work on one section, while we lived in the other with minimal dust and noise. Fernando kept us routinely updated on the progress and next steps at the end of each day and was flexible whenever we wanted to make any changes during the work. While many service companies over promise and under deliver, Fernando and his team under promised and over delivered. For example, many other companies don’t paint the baseboards. During the estimate Fernando didn’t include painting the new baseboards. But during the work, he said that his crew will paint all the new baseboards. Another thing is that his wife runs a house cleaning service. So after finishing each section of the house, he brought the cleaning crew and meticulously cleaned that section so that we could move into that section and his crew can finish the other section. Overall, we felt that Fernando and his team were extremely professional and sincere in their work. They even worked on the weekend to complete the project on time and they did a great job of cleaning up the entire home after the work. We would definitely hire them in future and we have no reservations in recommending Fernando and his team to anyone.
