"The biggest problem is that he'll say he's coming on a particular day and doesn't show. We had to call him to see what was up. He did replace our pump and he said he would be back later in the week to check the sprinkler heads. He never showed up. We had another issue with the new pump and called him. Again he said he would show up on a day and didn't. Again we called. When he came he said we had a different issue and proceeded to fix it. He also checked all our zones and changed the configuration. We have heads that aren't working that he didn't catch as not working. He's very knowledgeable but we'd rather deal with someone else."

"We've had a problem with a minor leaking shower faucet for some time. A year or so ago we had another plumber attempt to fix it. The fix didn't work and his only other solution was to cut into the shower tile & replace the valve in the wall.
Leaking had just gotten a lot worse I decided to try another plumber. After reviewing Angies List again, I decided to give Joe the Plumber a call. Joe was very responsive and scheduled an appointment the next day. After analyzing the problem, he tried one solution that didn't solve the problem, analyzed again and came up with another solution to try. He had to run out & pick up a part nearby and after installing that part ... the shower is not leaking. He took the next step to try and solve the problem.
In addition to being an excellent plumbing  problem solver, he's a very nice person. I'll call Joe the next time I need a plumber & recommend him.

He quickly identified those portions of the system that were functioning and not functioning. "Great. Fixed intire system and installed new control unit. Did not try to upsell me when I was willing to replace anything that looked bad. One sprinkler head that they didn't replace started to work but eventually is now not working but otherwise I love the job he did. However. Only complaint I had was delays which were not the company's fault but was tied up at the house due to not communicating back ups due to weather and homeowner add on to existing job causing delays and I knew that was the case I just wanted a call to confirm so I could have planned my days better but I loved his knowledge and blue collar work ethic and will definitely use this company again."
