"They knew what they were doing for sure , had many cracks and broken concrete that had dropped and had a big area that was a void, by the time they were done the pieces were together and they filled in all the cracks and sealed them. The only thing now is it looks like puzzle pieces. So now I need to resurface or texture .it was awesome to see"

"Amazing from start to finish! We had a large hole in the exterior wall from an old AC unit. Estimates and scheduling were super easy. The two man crew that did the work were friendly, knowledgeable and kept me updated through the process. The brick lines they did were top notch. It’s completely seamless with the existing brick work. They cleaned up well and even closed up the back gates when they left. I would hire them again for any work in the future."

"My patio was in need of dire repair for the last year but with increased cost of goods and materials I kept putting it off due to the high estimates from Concrete companies. Came across Wet Willies Lagoon’s and he came out right away. Not only was his estimate cheaper than the other contractors I called, he finished the job way a head of schedule! I’d also like to note the professionalism of all the staff and the fact that whoever was working on my patio was dressed in the company’s work attire. I always knew who was on my property during the renovations. Thanks Wet Willie’s!"

"They were able to deliver the dumpster the same day, very reasonably priced, and great customer service. Will continue to use them as needed from now on for all our houses"

Basement Waterproofing questions, answered by experts

The purpose of soffits is to circulate air, so a blocked soffit means the air in your attic becomes stagnant. This can lead to a number of problems, mostly moisture-related, that can cause damage to your health and your home. The good news is that unclogging soffits is relatively straightforward, and if your attic is easy to access, an easy DIY project.

Ductwork sweats due to a temperature difference between the air inside the ducts and the surrounding air, similar to how a cold drink develops condensation in the heat. This sweating is a sign that your HVAC system is not operating at peak efficiency. The best way to keep ductwork from sweating is to wrap it in proper insulation, which also improves your system's energy efficiency. Another option is to close off your crawl space and install a dehumidifier to dry the air and lower its dew point.

Flooded basement cleanup can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks, depending on the extent of water damage, the type of water involved, and the need for repairs or mold remediation. Severe cases with structural damage or extensive mold may require longer timelines. Quick action and professional help can speed up the process and reduce overall damage.

Roughing in and connecting utilities are the hardest parts of finishing a basement, and they’re the parts we typically don’t recommend doing as a DIY project. Unfortunately, your finishing timeline can be extended by weeks while you wait for contractors and inspectors to install electrical wiring, plumbing lines, and heating/cooling equipment and carry out inspections.

Encapsulation can take the place of crawl space vents since it protects the area from moisture and air all year round. Determining whether you should open or close crawl space vents can be complicated since it often depends on the weather and humidity. Skip this step by investing in crawl space encapsulation whenever possible.
