"Chris is very knowledgeable about dealing with rodents, who we'd wound up involuntarily hosting in our attic crawlspace over time. Chris replaced all the original soffits on our house with impenetrable metal ones, repaired all areas that the squirrels and rats had been using as access points, and set traps for any remaining critters - all at a very reasonable and competitive price. He set the appointments for the work, always arrived on time, and did a spectacular job. We are very satisfied with Chris's work , and highly recommend Handy Dad's Wildlife Management and Home Repairs."

Treehouse Builders questions, answered by experts

Before you get started on your hydroponic garden project, decide on your garden’s location. For a small office or home garden, consider an indoor hydroponic garden. Contrarily, if you plan on making a profit from your hydroponic garden, you might need to rent land or indoor space to grow your plants.

Increases living space and adds value to the home through enhanced utility.

Don’t forget to factor in the climate where you live during the planning stage. If your area is prone to bitter cold and heavy snow, you might want to invest in stronger greenhouse materials like a concrete slab, steel frame, and glass walls or plan to take your greenhouse down for the winter.

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.

In most cases, you can attach a greenhouse to any type of house. However, certain factors need to be considered, such as the structural integrity of the house, available space, and local building regulations. You should consult with a professional contractor or architect to assess the feasibility and ensure proper construction methods.
