Small jobs welcome

"I cannot say enough good things about All American Gas Services. I am very impressed with their customer service, professionalism and work ethic. In my time of need they answered the call and did not try to just patch things up, they actually cared and did the repairs promptly and the right way. They called me back to check and make sure things were right, I will not forget. I have a great amount of respect for them. They repaired a gas line that was ripped off the wall on the outside if the house, had to reconnect gas to home and the exterior water heater. Huge gas leak."

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

While it’s possible to repair minor grill issues like replacing a burner, more serious issues are clear indicators that you need to replace the entire unit. A few signs that your gas grill may be at the end of its life span and it’s time to consider replacing it include:

  • Rusty or cracked firebox

  • Weak, yellow, or uneven flames

  • Flaking, cracking grates

  • Leaking or cracked propane hoses

  • Failing igniter

  • Heavy buildup of grease

All U.S. states require permits for gas grill installation, so you’ll have to get one before you move forward with your project. Permits help ensure that the gas line runs safely to avoid gas leaks and explosions. Gas line permits can usually also only be pulled by certified plumbers, which means you’ll have to hire a professional from the start. The permit for a gas line installation for a gas grill usually costs between $100 and $300. You can contact your installation company or building department for more accurate pricing.

Appliances typically connected to a gas line include gas stoves, water heaters, furnaces, and gas fireplaces. Essentially, any appliance in your home that uses gas needs to be connected to a gas line, which connects your home with the main gas line owned and operated by your gas company.

Yes, you can lay a gas grill flat during transportation. Laying it flat can help prevent it from moving around the truck during the journey. It’s still advisable to secure the grill with bungee cords, just in case.

Yes, professional services typically include venting, gas line installation, and necessary permits.
