Smith Remodeling Services, Inc. is a family business, owned and managed by Mark and Lisa Smith. Both Mark and Lisa are Bradenton/Sarasota natives with over 25 years' experience. Our customers continue to refer Smith Remodeling because they consistently provide excellent customer service and quality craftsmanship at reasonable rates. Estimates for work are always free of cost, and potential customers will always work with Mark or Lisa directly. Smith Remodeling is licensed and insured for interior renovations including: tile installation, cabinetry installation, carpentry, painting, drywall repairs and installation, door installation, flooring, general repairs. When other services such as plumbing and electrical are required, the proper licensed contractors will perform those services and pull the necessary permits.
"This was our second project with Smith Remodeling (see review of 3/22/20) – this time a complete kitchen and bath renovation. Once again, we got superior workmanship, quality materials and great communication at a fair price. We were away for the summer, but we knew from our first experience we could invite Lisa, Mark and their crew into our home with confidence. Smith uses only its own crew, no subs, and has a great network of suppliers for cabinets, tile, countertops, fixtures, shower enclosures and whatever else you need. Lisa coordinates and schedules them all. Once work began, Lisa was in steady communication via text, email or phone. She sent photos almost every day. If she had a question, she consulted us before proceeding. If we had questions, she answered them promptly. The job was done in less than a month. The results were beautiful. This small company is in high demand with good reason."

"We contacted Empire Builders in mid February based on excellent reviews from Angie's List. Vitaliy provided an estimate and time frame for the job. The beginning of March we signed a contract and the cabinets were order and delivered. Four times some aspect of the coronavirus situation caused us to put the project on hold. Finally in the middle of June they were able to start. Vitaliy never complained and honored the price and timing for the project. The crew came every day on time, worked quietly and efficiently, and really cleaned up each night. They were absolutely professional in every aspect of their work. The cabinets were installed with care and look great. Our backsplash tile which was very tricky to work with looks fantastic. Vitaliy also worked with the granite fabricator to get the correct slab of granite for us when the wrong one had been delivered for cutting. Every step of the way Vitaliy and Empire Builders went above and beyond to give us a beautiful new kitchen and a great experience. We already expect to have him back for another project."

If cracks and delamination are what you desire call these idiots. Do Not recommend as they don't care about the Customer or the finished product. Ask the ethical Martin's for the closely guarded cracking delamination and warranty policy as it is not upfront and center."
