"Robert, as you know, the grading was done according to the county regulations and specifications. and could not have been done any different, otherwise it would have failed the county final inspection. As we discussed, the drainage issue was a result of the high elevation of your pre-existing septic system which created a grade slope from the rear of the property and draining towards the rear of the house. This condition was there long before we arrived. Adding the garage to the rear of the property only amplified the drainage issue. As you know, we worked with the county, and the engineer of record, to modify the drainage design to make the best of a bad situation that we inherited.
