"Buyer beware!!! See video below --- They will cut corners, upcharge and do really bad work. They damaged all my gutters, left rust stains in the pool and in the driveway, damaged the garage door. Please stop by 5844 nw windy pines lane and ill give you a walk around the house with before and after pictures along with video feed of the halfa## work. They will threaten leans on your house and legal action if you don't pay for their incomplete job. I have an attorney and they are being held accountable. I will share all the legal docs... these guys are really bad and can't work for higher-end consumers. Beware!!! Come see their work first hand. "Paid Wayne to fix a roof leak on my back porch. Work was performed but did not fix the leak. He wants more money to fix the same leak. I would find somebody who can fix your problem the first time around.... Wayne appears to need at least 2 tries and doesn’t care how well the job was completed."

"Brad repaired my roof last July. I paid $1500.00 for him to replace 9 shingles and repair the vent pipe and replace flashing and shingles around the vent. He only replaced the 9 shingles sand just gave the vent pipe a coat of spray paint. Including 2 trips to Lowe's it was a 3-hour job. It's now leaking and rainwater is dripping down the pipe and coming out from under the hvac unit. I have asked 7 times since July for my copy of the invoice showing material and labor costs. Brad has promised to mail it, and he hasn't, promised to email it and he hasn't and lastly said he would run it by my house which he hasn't. In frustration, I told him I would come out to his place and pick up the invoice. I guess that was the final straw for Brad because he has stopped replying. I'm partly to blame. I thought it strange that Brad's Dad gave me the $1500.00 quote without getting on the roof to do an inspection. And, I should have gotten the estimate in writing. I relied on the 5-star reviews on Google and his dad's assurance the job would be done right. I will do better when I hire the next roofer to finish Brad's job!"

Classic Copper Works uses time honored German copper smith techniques handed down from father to son and passed on to our highly skilled artisans. We specialize in the fabrication of custom copper & bronze products and other metal specialties. WE DO NOT OFFER REPAIR SERVICES OF ANY KIND. Additional phone number - (888) 908-5339.

"Ordered and paid for custom awning that was to take 5 weeks. Its now been 16 weeks and still waiting. Owner is at best noncommunicable and at worst, rude. I'm now wondering if this is a scam and not a real business."

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

Copper roof strips can last for 20 to 30 years or more if properly installed—in many cases, they may outlast your roof. Inspect your roof annually to ensure copper roof strips remain properly adhered and undamaged, and repair any loose or lifted strips. With very little upkeep, copper roof strips can protect your roof for decades to come.

A new roof will last anywhere from 15 to 150 years, depending on the type of roof you install. Asphalt shingle roofs have the shortest lifespan of 15 to 30 years. Metal roofs usually last for 30 to 60 years, but some materials can fall outside of that range. Clay and concrete roofs can last for 50 to 100 years, and slate roofs have the longest lifespan of 60 to 150 years.

Depending on the materials and conditions of your house, flashing has a life span of 15 to 50 years. To ensure its longevity, schedule an inspection for your chimney and roof each year. A pro can quickly assess its condition and recommend repairs.

It’s the reverse of home de-winterization. To winterize, you purge your plumbing system (including your water heater and all piping) of water. Some experts also recommend filling fixtures with an antifreeze solution. Other tasks involve winterizing sprinklers, sealing foundation vents, check weatherproofing around doors and windows, and more.

Rubber shingles last for around 30 years, on average, and some can last for and include warranties for up to 50 years. Rubber roof shingles are more expensive than asphalt shingles, but they can last up to twice as long, meaning they provide more value in the long run. Just keep in mind that rubber roofs often require more maintenance than asphalt shingle roofs, including routine cleaning to avoid mold growth. Ask the roofer who installed your roof for an estimate for routine cleaning, if necessary.
