  John showed up as usual on time and on schedule.

We went over the fine details via email prior to the job start.

John has done other jobs for me prior and that is exactly why I utilize his

services. I know what to expect and I know the job will be done right.

If you want an inexpensive price it would be best to look elsewhere. If your

looking for someone you can hand your house keys over to and leave John in your home

unattended, then he is your man.

You will find the jobsite in the end most likely cleaner then before he came. He removed all debris

and debris that were found prior that were not his doing.

The job was done to a level that I expected and I tend to be a nit picker because I have seen

many winners lately. In the end you get far more then you pay for. The deck was over-built as I requested

and done to a far higher standard then the one before it. We talked over some design updates for which

he carried out without extra charges near the completion. He hand picked the lumber and sanded out

the Lumber Mill stamps without being asked to. That in itself was a big help.

In the end, John is a guy you don't have to baby sit and unlike many before him he locks up the

house and turns off everything and cleans up and its done right. His high level of workmanship and integrity

is the same regardless if your home or not.

  

He did a great job, cleaned up and rechecked the job before finishing. Took almost 1 hour. Well done-I would use him again.

First of all, we were shocked (pleasingly so) at the rapid response to our initial inquiry to John. Contractors in rural Maryland are not know for their prompt return phone calls. He came out to look at the job to quote and responded promptly with a quote via e-mail. He showed up on time, was professional and knowledgeable, and tidy. After he installed an exterior door for us, we were so pleased that we had him repair our porch ceiling (where we had a previous roof leak), repair the flashing around our chimney, and install two exterior recepticles. I now have Dr. John on speedial - highly recommend.

John came to my home and looked at the lamp in question. It was better for him to take it to his shop to re-wire it, and he did so. I picked it up from his shop. I will definitely use him for small handyman jobs as they come up.

John arrived on time, did the work agreed upon quickly and well, and even finished the project earlier than estimated.  We will definitely be using him again for future handyman needs.

John came on -time (actually early - but checked with us first) for an estimate and was able to perform the job within a week. He immediately identified the issues and was very through in correcting. He encountered some defective electrical connections, and while it cost us more I'm gled it was identified and fixed.
John offered us his license without prompting, and filled us in on MD contractor laws and policies. He also provided a detailed summary of the work performed and the defects to help us in with the aforementioned OB company.
I have John's card at the ready if anything else home-wise comes up.

John arrived on time to take a look at all of the projects with me. He came back a second time and patiently went over everything with my husband as well. He had some pricing prepared and got back to us quickly with new pricing based on our modifications. John was very neat and took good care of our house. He was able to seamlessly blend the new paneling, windows and door into our existing 1970s structure. The windows that he custom ordered for us are really nice quality. John came back after the project was complete to fine tune the door after we took it down to finish it and change out the hardware after we changed our mind on the finish. Everything was re-trimmed to match and John was often able to recycle the parts that he removed, which I think is great. He was very kind and courteous to my whole family. We are very happy with the work.

Job went very well. John finished  all but the bilco doors in 1 day 9 -5 and then because of frequent rain came back on another day and painted the bilco doors . He sanded the doors on the 1st day and gave them another sanding then painted them.

John provided an estimate, we signed a contract, he did the work the following week. He also fixed a light switch that wasn't part of the contract.

John did the job same day called on time professional knowledgeable.

I was satisfied with his work. His price was a bit higher, but overall his work turned out great.

John has worked in the past three years on several repairs and a remodeling (bathroom) in my house and I was always impressed by the quality, expertise, and timeliness of his work.
