I had two small problems with the quality of the work, however. Two parts of a duct were loose, and they told my tenant it should be taped to secure it (couldn't they have done this as part of the replacement?). Also, the thermostat they installed seems to be a very cheap model. It's hard to use, and the panel that covers the buttons has already broken (less than two months after the installation).
The tech had been on the job only a month. He was polite, and a hard worker. Intially, he set up the suction the wrong way, and didn't take out my filter. I thought something was weird. But then his supervisor showed up and made the correction, so we started again.
I then took things into my own hands and tore apart part of my closet to get to another duct supply that goes in the slab....
Long story short, I worked with the tech for half the day getting my ducts clean. They were filthy.
I'm lucky i was home that day.. Always be home when they come.
Again, my house HVAC is confusing and not easy to figure out, especially for a guy only 30 day on the job. If you have regular home, with furnace in the basement, ect... no issues
It was expensive,but they were their from 9-4.... and my ducts are spotless. What a difference in airflow.
I would use them for this service.

"First off we always return phone calls no matter who it is.Second if maintenance was done the filter in the humidifier would have been clean not backed up by calcium or mold on the filter.The debris in the filter caused the drain to plug and created an overflow,which the markings our seen on the side of the duct where the water ran over.Customer also said water was leaking from water lines overhead and no visible leaks were seen.Paying for a carpet is not a resolution, however we can sit and come to a better solution."
Second a few years later we had to have the furnace repaired under warranty. They were given the symptoms. They replaced the ignitor but charged for labor that included time to come to the house, time to go get the part and time to install. Time was excessive first because ignitors are a common small spark plug sized repair part that they should have had in their truck. Second because Carrier is their standard brand and the problem was given that should have had common repair parts on hand when they left their office. Third they took much too long to get the part when supply house are within a few miles.
Third the clincher was that the furnace broke again with the same problem the next week. This time I watched. closer. They replaced the ignitor again but I suspect that the first repair may have been done with a used ignitor because the new part is still in use.
