"I was struggling mightily with my previous pool service. They did ever seem to show up on the same day, and some weeks not at all. Which meant that the pool had allege issues on a fairly regular basis - not to mention debris that only seemed to be present on the bottom. Which meant, I had to dump in additional chemicals and get out my own vacuum.
 I then switched to Sweetwater - now my pool is always sparkling clear and clean. No hint of allege and with the twice a month vacuuming service, I've been able to put away my vacuum for good. My service specialist always arrives every Thursday without fail and is great about not only alerting me it problem with the pool, but also fixing them, or working with other contractors to get equipment fix. I have my filtration canister replaced after he noticed it was failing.
My only regret is that I didn't go to Sweetwater to begin with. They would have save me almost two years of pool related headaches, and swims in less than pristine water. They desire their very high rating here on Angie's List and have earned my "A" rating over the last 5 months. Have recommended them to several friends already and they are equally pleased.

"Kevin came out to give us an estimate on a new pool heater installation. He was really nice and answered my questions. Since this is our first time owning a pool. We had our new heater installed yesterday, which was quicker than I thought it was going to be done. The gentleman that came out to install the heater was also very nice and informative. He went out of his way to answer more questions. So far the unit is working great. I am definitely using them again and recommend their services."

"I purchased the package from Angies list for a servicing, frion, etc. However, the tech informed me the system was shot and needed to be replaced. However, his prices seemed very high when he provided verbal quotes and would have been around the 9 G range for replacement. I asked him to send me a email quote but never received it. Called a 2nd company who confirmed the system did need replacing but was provided an estimate immediately that was $2500 lower with a quality named system.  It is being installed today and feel as though Bruno Air should refund me the $77 due to lack of follow up and no services provided.

Jimmy and his great staff came in and immediately attacked the algae problem in our pool.  He replaced the filter that the previous company should have replaced long ago and started treating the problem.  He called or sent someone to treat the pool every day, because he knew that we were eager to get the problem cleared up.  And clear it up they did -- the pool looks great. 

Jimmy and his staff have a thorough understanding of the chemistry of treating pool water and that is difficult for some companies who cannot treat a saline (slat water) pool.  You will be in great hands with this company.  It would be impossible for anyone to provide better service.

Don't try to go for a ground-mounted system if you do have the available roof space and building orientation. The costs are very high for ground mounted solar panels due to the wind load design requirements. The cheaper option is using your available roof space. 

Do take advantage of FAFCO's assistance with utility company rebates and federal income tax credits.  They can potentially save you a huge amount of money.
