Originally from Long Island, NY, my wife, Nancy, and I moved to the Tampa Bay area and have lived here for over 30 years. Together we raised our two sons who are now grown and enjoying their lives. The concept for this business began 25 years ago, and now with our children living in other parts of the country, we have established Home Services, etc… My desire is to help people in the community by giving them Peace of Mind while they are traveling and away from their Florida homes. Having traveled extensively, I know what it is like being away from home for an extended period of time and not knowing if everything is OK back home. Is my pool pump working, or do I need to have the exterminator come in for a special unscheduled service? Is a pipe broken under a sink causing a small leak, or did my A/C freeze up? Just as concerning, did my home survive the last hurricane without any damage? It is these questions and questions like them that have led me to create Home Services, etc. and to give people comfort knowing that their houses and condominiums are being taken care of on a regular schedule. How nice it is for you to be able to call someone in advance to shop for you and stock your home with the basic food needs so they are there waiting for you when you arrive back to your Florida home. Home Services, etc. has been created with the intention of helping our neighbors by giving them Peace of Mind and making sure they’re in touch with what’s going on in their homes while away. My Peace of Mind is knowing I’m helping you and others who are seasonal residents. My goal is to help you feel more comfortable and worry free.

"Very smooth move. I had to move from my apartment in Altamonte Springs to my new residence in New Tampa. I was on a somewhat tighter schedule as this was the last weekend left on my apartment lease. They sent a 2 man crew and they arrived around 1pm within the promised window that the scheduler set for me. They shrunk wrap my mattress and sofa and boxed up or shrunk wrap the other furniture items. I had done my legwork as well as putting everything in totes and boxes so they could just grab them and head down to the moving van. It took them about an hour to get my stuff down from a 3rd story apartment to their moving van and they were off. They actually arrived at my new place in Tampa before I did as I was delayed completing my lease exit with the apartment community and then getting held up in traffic on I-4. Once i met the guys at the new place they had everything up and moved in within an hour. Other things to consider: I was living in a one bedroom apartment. So I did not have a lot of furniture just the basics. Bed, sofa, coffee table, couple of end tables, nightstand, a workdesk and office chair. My moving guys were professional, courteous and knew what they were doing. My items were handled with appropriate care. Overall, I am very pleased that I went with this company for my move. Things went smoothly."
