"Our heating unit stopped working the first evening of continued sub-zero temps this past February. It was a Friday evening and we called two companies, one of which wasn't available, and the other which came and gave a diagnosis. The diagnosis was to replace both the inside and outside units, costing well over $12,000, and we were left to have someone call us on Monday to order parts and to (hopefully) have repaired on Tuesday. This would have left our family with 5 young children in a home with zero heat and sub-zero temps over a 4-day period. We called late Friday, they came out first thing Saturday morning, suggested we start by replacing one part of the inside heat unit first, drove to Fisher's to retrieve the part, replaced it, and by lunch Saturday we had warm air heating our home.
