"It started off with requesting a quote through Best Air Quality and Restoration. The response time was great. The technician who showed up informed us in advance of his arrival, was very polite, followed Covid-19 safety protocols, was very thorough and did a great job. I also got the dryer vent cleaning which was the complete deal (going to the attic, removing the vent pipe and cleaning the debris). Some other companies claim they do dryer vent cleaning but only vacuum the dryer duct and do not perform the complete dryer vent cleaning which is more involved. I'm very happy with the service and this company and have already recommended them too many of my friends. Keep up the great service Best Air Quality and Restoration!"

"Wali Barack and his team at Water Damage Pro Master LLC are exceptional. When a water emergency damaged multiple rooms on both floors of my home, I called Water Damage Pro, and Wali arrived the same day to assess the situation. He provided a clear, fair estimate that I approved that night, and his team was on-site the very next morning to begin mitigation. Their rapid response minimized damage to my home and saved me from far more extensive repairs. Throughout the process, Wali demonstrated outstanding communication and reliability. He kept me informed every step of the way, promptly answered questions, and coordinated smoothly with my insurance company, which was equally impressed by his team’s professionalism and efficiency. The quality of their work was excellent. They restored my ceiling, tiled, and hardwood flooring to a renewed appearance. They treated my property with care and attention as if it were their own, restoring each area with precision and top tier pricing."

"The team, namely Liliana and Oscar, did an incredible job restoring our dining room after extensive water/mold damage in the walls and ceiling. Professional, communicative, and thorough- their work is really wonderful! The team who did the assessment was thorough and the quote we received was honest, detailed and comparatively competitive to other contractors. The entire team has appropriate certifications in mold removal. I wish we’d gone with them for the mold removal initially as well- we had an unsatisfactory experience with another mold removal company but we had ERS add on safety cleaning measures and they were. Great. Gave us the confidence to know our home was not only beautifully restored but safe for our newborn. Thanks so much! If you’re on the fence, go with these guys- you won’t regret."

"We had flooding in our carpeted basement. Patrice arrived on time, surveyed the damage, explained what he would do, and then did it! He was very responsive, called each time to let us know he was arriving. A totally satisfactory experience."

"I am in the commercial construction business, found this vendor through Angie's List... Recently my in-laws' had their entire basement flooded, yes, 9' HIGH OF STORM WATER filled to the ceiling, completely ruined a finished basement, HVAC, electrical panel, etc. Armor Restoration gave us a competitive price, and both Norman and Bob were very responsive to our requests, very service-oriented. Armor was prepared to mobilize and git-r-done. They brought out two crews to hand-fill (two!) 30-cubic-yard dumpsters full of ruined stuff and materials. They helped us sort through salvageable personal items, and gave us great advice on just about everything we had questions about. Before they started, the basement was beyond awful smelling (some sewage waste got in too) and making the rest of the house smell too. In two days of working, removal was done, basement was stripped to bare concrete, cleaned, treated with anti-microbial spray, and smelled very clean. Incredible. The workers were all very professional, courteous and took great care to protect the pathway in-out of the basement, which was through the front door. If I had my house flooded, or smoke-damaged, I would hire Armor Restoration in a hot minute. Can't say enough good things about them. Thanks again for being awesome."

"Murray from Capitol Mold was great! He came out to check on some water damage in my attic. He was straightforward and direct in his assessment, and he presented me with several clear options. So many contractors are only interested in how much money they can make off of you, but Murray felt honest and fair to me, and like he actually cared about doing a good job. I’d definitely call him back if I needed help with mold in the future!"

Restore Fire Damage questions, answered by experts

To get rid of the smoke smell in a microwave, scrape off any burnt food residue and throw it away. Next, warm a cup of water in a microwave-safe container for three minutes. Then, dip a microfiber cloth into a mixture of water and a couple of drops of dish soap and wipe down the inside of the microwave. Dry the inside of the microwave with a fresh cloth and let everything air out for three hours.

Repairing a fire-damaged home could cost anywhere from $2,000 to $200,000 or more—it all depends on the extent of the damage and the quality of the materials you use. In most cases, your homeowner’s insurance company will cover the majority of the repairs. If you’re buying a home with fire damage, though, it’s best to get an estimate from a fire damage restoration company to estimate the repairs before closing.

The first step is removing water or chemical residue, if applicable, after extinguishing. Next, your professional will clean up soot, remove damaged materials, treat the smoke damage, and complete any necessary structural repairs. After that, your pro will begin the build-back process and install finishes to restore your home to its previous condition.

The most common causes of kitchen fires are leaving cooking food unattended, frying food with excessive amounts of oil, and leaving flammable objects near the stovetop.

Depending on who’s doing the estimating, about 22,000 to 25,000 chimney fires happen each year in the United States. Given the fact that millions of Americans have fireplaces (and chimneys), that means chimney fires aren’t exactly common—but they’re not rare, either. Since they’re so dangerous, it’s important to take precautions to prevent them.
