THE START Turning Your Home Green, the insulation specialist, is a family business dedicated to making your living space a more comfortable, eco-friendly environment. My father started a residential renovation company in New Jersey 35 years ago. Over the years, almost every house he entered was inadequately insulated. He evaluated the living space and provided a solution to correct the problem.
"Gene was very responsive to my request for an evaluation of my home to find opportunities to address cold/ drafty rooms. He performed a free assessment which was nice (not all in this business do). He made several recommendations after an in depth examination, and wrote up a detailed quote breaking out each line item. I appreciated the cost transparency. We decided to take the initial step of applying spray foam to insulate the duct work in the basement and attic. Gene used good ventilation techniques and the end result was very neat. He cleaned up well. He shared the before and after data in terms of the surface temperature of the duct work. It is clear it is making a difference in terms of the evenness of the heating in the home. I will definitely hire again."

"Great. Jeff quoted our specs, & did an in-house visit. He reviewed the entire project. He made sure Our expecting were realistic, before going on. Everything was clear, & got a competitive price.. We have noisy upstairs neighbors in Condo yelling & loud TV, RADIO,MUSIC & the project helped reduce it by 30-65%. It is hard to be specific without decipel meaning equipment. The cellulose bags say 60%, however Jeff pointed out expect 35%- that honesty, eventhough we got better. If you do a similar job, make sure you understand IMPACT noise, which is not what this project can do. So we are not disappointed, & got what we asked for. The noise was reduced, but not eliminated. This will keep us in a holding spot, in that we might not have to move for now, as moving is very expensive. This kind of improved our quality of life. Our contractor Juan & Dillon were Professional, respectful of our home & exceeded all posted reviews. "Was money paid or were services performed?*-bad question!"
