ACJ Remodeling Inc owned and operated by Joe Ashley is a highly professional organization. All work and done as agreed to in our contract and there were no sudden additional costs added. The price in the contract was what I paid – no more. The house looks new. The crew is very professional they arrived on the promised first day and all other day at 8:00am and work with a lunch break till 5:00 pm. They were careful not to cause any damage to my house or both of my neighbors. At the end of each day, they did an excellent clen up including picking stray nails. They were very careful with my wife’s flowers and vegetable plants, and none were damaged or died. Joe Ashley is easy to work with, very responsive to questions and requests. When he promises something, he delivers. I highly recommend ACJ Remodeling Inc if you need any roof work.

I was filled with anxiety about selecting the right contractor for my roof, but finding ACJ through Angi’s List turned out to be a great decision. The new roof looks beautiful! Joe, Caesar, Angel and the team were incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They were punctual, courteous, hard-working, thoughtful, organized, and very neat throughout the entire process. I am completely satisfied with their work. Of course, only time and bad weather will truly test the durability of my new roof, but I have absolute confidence in the integrity of ACJ. We used ACJ , Remodling to replace our roof. Our house is three levels and approximately 2,000 square feet. We required having the existing roof removed down to the furring strips, and replacing it with plywood and shingles. Additionally, we had the roof on our extension converted from a flat roof to a pitched roof with traditional gutters. To top things off, this job began just a weeks before Christmas. This was not a small job. The crew at ACJ, Remodling were professional and courteous. They kept the disruption to our lives to a minimum and when the project was completed we were left with a beautiful new roof and new gutters. Winter is an extremely difficult time to do this kind of work but they managed to work in difficult weather conditions, keeping the length of the job to the fewest number of days possible. I highly reccomend Joseph Ashley and his workers at ACJ Remodling.

Windows failed the first year they were put in due to them using interior caulk - externally. The siding was a good job. They didn’t clean well and we had to have them come back as we had small children and dogs running around. When two windows leaked he came back and never once looked at a window. He looked at the roof and wanted the job. No roof issue it was CAULK. I know this because I saw what they were using because they left empty tubes outside. Told us to knock the house down and move. Pushed me to rate him five stars on the day the job was done. DONT DO THIS. Give reviews after you have a few good rains and then you’ll know if the work is good. The windows he used are so bad, even Home Depot doesn’t sell this.

"For anyone reading this review Please note that I am totally committed to 100% customer satisfaction and take all reviews seriously I do remember working with this woman but it had to be easily well over a decade ago. Why this review now? All went well at the time or at least I thought. As a matter of fact she had given me more work on another property she and her husband owned on the same block never a complaint always polite we left off great, all parties where happy, I'm stunned! I'm always prompt and accommodating and if you know me I never say no its all about customer satisfaction, but I haven't spoken to her in well over 10 years if not more if there was recent issues she should have notified me and all problems cold have been addressed."

His team did a phenomenal job on my roof, they were very courteous and promptly on time… my job took 2 days and Joseph came to oversee how things were going and kept clear communication with me throughout the whole process.. Once hired, the workers were on-time, professional, courteous, and most important, the work was stellar with excellent attention to detail. Joseph was a pleasure to work with. He had done roofing for my neighbors (who were very pleased), so I had every confidence that I would get a great roofing job as well. My entire 35 year old roof was removed, gables and all, as well as the original roofing slats from the early 20th century. New plywood was expertly installed prior to laying down the new roof. I also had my 100 year old chimney replaced as it was in extremely poor condition. His crew was talented and neat, cleaning up every day and were a pleasure to interact with. Most of his crew has been with Joseph for 20+ years, so I felt I was getting the "A Team" to work on my house. His price was fair and everything promised was delivered and installed. The roof looks beautiful and I will glowingly recommend Joe to everyone!

Excellent. Of five contractors I called, Joseph was the only one who came out and looked at the roof from both inside and out! His estimate was very reasonable. He was a pleasure to work with & kept me updated every step of the way. Workers were pleasant to work with & cleaned up thoroughly. There were no surprises and the job cost what he said it would. I was fully aware of the possibility of extra costs and what they would be, if rotten wood were discovered after shingles were taken off, which was not the case. I would hire Joseph in a heartbeat if I ever need remodeling, roof repair, etc.

With a leaking porch ceiling and a roof past its life, I retained Joseph for a full roof replacement, modifications to some dormers, and skylights. From the start, Joe was honest, clear, and efficient in his work from estimation through completion. My renovation was far more complex than most, involving the replacement of nearly all the sheathing, beams, insulation, structural work on dormers, and the addition of soffits - some of it planned, and some of it a surprise. Joseph and his team were on site each day and worked through quite a complex project in a way that made them all a pleasure to work with. I'm planning future exterior work on my home in future years, and Joseph Ashley will be my first call.

They came, they saw, they conquered my two flat roofs by working hard and efficiently as an experienced and cooperative team. No bickering, no yelling. Even the music they played was soft and tasteful, suitable for any homeowner to hear. That may sound trite or irrelevant, but it reflects their overall attitude and consideration for the client.
