With a leaking porch ceiling and a roof past its life, I retained Joseph for a full roof replacement, modifications to some dormers, and skylights. From the start, Joe was honest, clear, and efficient in his work from estimation through completion. My renovation was far more complex than most, involving the replacement of nearly all the sheathing, beams, insulation, structural work on dormers, and the addition of soffits - some of it planned, and some of it a surprise. Joseph and his team were on site each day and worked through quite a complex project in a way that made them all a pleasure to work with. I'm planning future exterior work on my home in future years, and Joseph Ashley will be my first call.

Joe and his crew did a fine job. Conscientious workers who put in 12 hour days and worked as quickly as possible and finished (almost) on time plus 1/2 day but certainly within the allowable margin considering the complexity of the job. I am very pleased with the resulting full roof replacement

My roof was in dire need of a replacement. I called Joe on a Thurs and he came that day to look at the roof. I had several other proposals but Joe was the only one who took the time to explain what was wrong, what he would do and timelines. Joe said he would start on Mon and be done on Tues and that's exactly what happened. His crew are great - punctual, professional and detail oriented; they even fixed the ladder inside leading to the roof access. I haven't had my roof replaced in the 38 years I've lived there, after a conversation with co-workers, I decided it might be a good idea to get some quotes. I put out feelers to old friends and a friend of over 50 years, called me, and told me of Joseph Ashley Knowing my friends attention to detail and perfection, I asked Joseph Ashley to come and look at the work that I needed. I had other roofers come also, but Joseph Ashley seemed to know better how to make my house a home. After a day I decided to go with ACJ Remodeling (Joseph Ashley).He was able to start literally days later. The finished product exceeded my expectations, I now have a gutter system, soffits and shingles warrantied for 30 years. Another 10 year warrantee for workmanship and ACJ throws another 2 years for workmanship .I've had minimal work done by contractors on my house, but I will be using ACJ Remodeling. I intend to install vinyl siding soon, and it will be ACJ doing the work, I couldn't be happier. This Company is definitely the "cream of the crop"

I have a new roof done in April! It’s a very good experience with Joseph, he is a very good man and very concerned about the job has been done due to recent raining days. Great team, Joe is a man of his word and his crew worked diligently. There were terrifying moments as we removed the old roof but the crew chief and Joe helped me remain calm through it all with their ability to tackle any problem that arose. Also, very respectful crew, very attentive to my neighbors concerns and very tidy.

I hired Joe after my Insurance company required me to redo the roof. I had an amazing experience with ACJ Remodeling. Joe to care if every detail. After a recent storm, water started dripping through my ceiling, and I knew it was time to fix it right. I went to Angi's list, and one of the first names to catch my eye was ACJ Remodeling. I read through a long list of very good reviews and decided this would be the best choice. Joe came over immediately to inspect the roof. He was very straightforward and recommended stripping and replacing. I was in agreement as I wanted to get to the source of any issues rather than just cover it with another layer of material. We agreed on a price,which I found very reasonable and made plans to to begin. On day one, a dumpster arrived, and his crew began immediately stripping off the old roof and found the source of the leak as well as several areas that had rotted wood and needed framing and sheathing replacement. They took extensive photos of the damaged areas to replace, and it was a no brainier that the work needed to be done. I was pleasantly surprised as to how clean the site was at the end of day one. By the end of day two, everything we discussed was complete. He had even put more men in the job to finish before another storm was coming. The new roof looks fantastic,new gutters, all new metal trim at the peak looks better than the original. Jobsite was spotless when they left. I would recommend Joe and his crew to anyone looking for major home repairs.

Our siding was over 30 years old and was starting to come apart. We initially had two quotes before we spoke with Joe, one which was very low, and one which was very high. Neither of which sat with us nor went over any options nor contract obligations. When Joe from ACJ arrived, he was prepared. He sat with us for over an hour going over what we wanted and how he was going to do it. He brought samples for us to select from and explained the entire process to us. He gave us a reasonable quote and a few weeks later work began. From start to finish, the entire job ran smooth. His workers were very professional and always accommodated me and my family coming into and out of the house as they worked. Any issue that came up, there was no argument, only "No problem, we'll take care of it". Joe called multiple times during the job to check in and make sure we were happy. And the results they provided are amazing. I highly recommend ACJ for any work you need done.

oseph Ashley - ACJ Remodeling This is a review about windows, but I just want to mention that we worked with Joe before and had complete confidence his men would excel again. In 2015 Joseph Ashley put a new roof on our house (we got four estimates) Joe and his Team were incredible. They removed everything down to the rafters, completely rebuilt the eves, new gutters, finishing mouldings, and the chimney, to this day, the whole job has stood the test of time, A new beautiful brick chimney with copper flashing, topped off with a protective crown, we still marvel at. These guys are fearless, and they practice professional safety protocol when they go up, they are harnessed and hard-hatted, and they are respectful of your neighbor's property also. So, we were in need of new windows, Joseph Ashley immediately came to mind, so we call Joe, he showed up the next day and took measurements and ordered the windows, Great to see Joe still has that positive, confident attitude, Joe's Team, once again surpassed all of our expectations, This is the best way to describe the whole project, We now have beautiful brand new windows, new frame work, window sills, and mouldings, We had some windows that had no frame work, and no sills, they were basically just placed into a wall cavity between two by fours and then tacked in and covered with sheetrock, Joe and his Team are skilled, they deliver awesome craftsmanship, they still continue to impress, The windows are a pleasure to look at, they function as you'd want and expect, and there is a marked difference in outside noise reduction, Wow! Hold on, there's more (thank you for reading thus far), we had an issue with a flat roof that was redone in 2021 by a different company that all we can say is they did things differently that Joe does, I said 'Joe can you do something about the way they hung the tar paper over the side, and the gutters and the drip edge maybe a new facia board.' Joe said, 'Of course, you want it done the right way, I understand.' Not only did they do it the right way, they wrapped the whole second floor porch and roof facia board coping with all new white aluminum coping and mouldings, again beautiful, Now Joe doesn't just install coping, his Team not only put up the new mouldings and coping around the porch and flat roof, but by bending the aluminum, they put a decorative crease that takes a plain piece of metal and turns it into something more ornate. And they wrapped the coping around both sides of the porch, I asked him to do the front, as usual he said it looks better this way, Ok, yes, Ashley Joseph, ACJ Remodeling is competitively priced, Would we recommend them? Absolutely, without hesitation, And as always, they clean up everything and take it all away, We can't say enough about the quality of their work and their attention to the details
