"Sur Fence put in a new 12' cedar gate for the driveway. Working with Xavier was great. He's an excellent, consistent communicator. And also (seemed to) enjoy the creative process of my questioning and refinement of the gate's design. He was comfortable using photos as inspiration and developing a design that worked for my circumstances and budget. There were some areas I pushed him beyond the normal conventions of gate design (like size of main pillars and mix of materials). He always kindly shared his concerns and the norms of past customers, but never failed to find a way forward once he understand my aims. The buffet had sustained substantial damage, both to the interior (drawer and frame crushed by an unsecured heavy shelf board) and the exterior (multiple scratches and dents, and two drawer faces that required replacing). Frank went to a great deal of trouble to match the wood that needed replacing, and the repaired and refinished piece looks as if it had never been damaged in the first place. We are more than delighted with the result! Frank and his crew had previously done a great job stripping and refinishing a large mid-century book/display shelf for us."
