"I do not recommend this contractor. I recently bought a house in Ridgefield ct, so I hired this company to paint several rooms in the house. And because I didn't move yet, so they work unsupervised. They didn't know I had surveillance cameras all over. So I noticed this: THE BAD I capture unprofessional behavior. first, the painters went to rooms they were not supposed to enter, then they use my ladder without my authorization, and lastly, one of them smoked in my balcony. (when I confront the contractor, he said that if they smoke outside is not a problem....fire hello!! I was about to terminate the contract, but they were close to finishing the job) Most of it was of good quality regarding the painting, but they did not deliver the same quality in one room (my kid's room). I was even able to see the prior paint color. When I show this to the manager in the final walk, he said they already used three layers of paint, and to get it right, and it will cost me extra. I don't care how many layers they use; what I need is a good job! THE GOOD they booked me fast, and the price was reasonable. So, in conclusion, If you are not going to be in the property when working, be vigilant. And also, be prepared to pay more if you want a great job. I am definitely not hiring them again."

"My review of the work I have had done by Thomas Gianni & Sons Inc.. They really did a great job of working on my property. I call their office and asked to get some excavation of removing a couple of tree stumps in my yard and to put down approx. 20 yds. of gravel in an area near my shed. It was just about three or four days and they call me back to confirm to come out the next day, June 22. Their employee came by early in the morning and went over all the project. Figured out what equipment he needed and measured up for the materials and started the work about an hour later. He was very cautious and caring about minimal damaging to the yard. After removing the stumps he graded the surrounding area with the machine to the point where I only needed to rake it out to plant new grass. The gravel was put down flat and clean; not a mess. I would definitely hire them again."

The SHP billing approach was clear so there were never any surprises. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably the project ended up costing. Observing Jeremy and the SHP teamwork was amazing. I have never seen such a talented, dedicated, caring, and creating team. They worked with amazing efficiency and effectiveness. I can attest, based on other projects we have taken on, this project would have taken much longer than the five short weeks (including Christmas and below freezing temperatures) this took. The quality of their work was remarkable and the pride in their workmanship was always evident. The extra touches he included in the project and the counsel he provided gave us 100% confidence that he would do what was right and that he, and SHP, would go above and beyond. The house is beautiful, and Jeremy and SHP will always hold a place in our hearts. They are an absolute gift, and they are now considered part of our family. I did not know Jeremy before this project, but I now count him as a friend. Going forward, we will call Jeremy and SHP first and we will know that he will care for us and for our house as if it was his own."
