Absolutely horrible experience. Within three weeks of installation, the fence was ripping and leaning and the wood was breaking and bowing. Horrible customer service, installation and materials.

Our entire experience with the Rockland Fence team was FANTASTIC! We were able to schedule an initial consultation and project estimate with salesperson Matt, who came out promptly at the scheduled date and time, and was efficient with measurements, fence details, and returning our quote. He was EXTREMELY courteous, professional, and super informative with answering our many questions during the consultation! The price and completion timeline we received for our project was the best of a total of 4, and we felt so comfortable with Matt and confident in his knowledge and the information he provided during the consultation that we made the decision to choose Rockland Fence for our project. When we got in touch with Matt, he quickly helped us with necessary paperwork and put us on the schedule right away. The installation team was ready to begin our fence considerably earlier than initially scheduled (which was awesome for us!) and they were absolutely WONDERFUL! Once they arrived they walked with us around the yard to ensure that their plans and information was correct (we had some last minute modifications to the original plan, and they were able to adjust, no problem). They then got to work immediately to remove the old fence and install the new one. They were not only a few weeks ahead of schedule for our fence, but they worked VERY hard through a heat wave to have our fence completed in record time! They had the best possible attitudes of any crew I have ever worked with! They were EXTREMELY nice, happy, and courteous throughout the entire installation process despite the grueling heat (they were always quick to say "hi" and smile and wave whenever they saw me - and were SUPER appreciative of some simple drinks we provided to help them deal with the heat). They were incredibly professional with unparalleled efficiency and managed to complete our fence in less than 2 days! (I wish we could have hired them for more than our fence!) Our fence came out absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and even better than what we hoped for, and we could not be more happy with the final outcome! Shortly after the installation team departed, we received quick follow up contact from Matt to ensure that we were pleased with the final project and installation (which we most definitely were), and letting us know to get in touch right away with any possible issues or future changes. Everyone I interacted with from Rockland Fence was incredibly professional and helpful. They communicated about when they'd be here, they installed a beautiful fence, and were responsive when I called to ask about getting some extra wire fencing put in to close off a gap. They answered all of my questions, and the fence looks really nice. There was a small dent in one of the gates they installed, and when I called to ask about getting a replacement, they offered to take care of it right away.

This fall we completed a very large backyard remodeling project, including stone steps and retaining walls, patio, etc. The company doing the stonework provided us with a different company for the fence, pergola, and railing needed, and the initial quotes from that company were absurdly high. I proceeded to get quotes from almost a dozen fence companies, and Rockland fence not only had the most affordable quote (one that other companies would not even consider matching), but Matt quickly understood the scale of the work and had the best vision of how to complete it. The project itself spanned 5 months, and required coordination with the stone company, landscapers, electrician, and carpenter. In the entire execution, Rockland was extremely accommodating to the narrow windows required to complete the work, and seamlessly coordinated with the other contractors. The execution was stellar, with a strong attention to detail and much care given to not disturb the stone or landscaping work in progress. In addition, Matt was always available to discuss next steps and answer any questions related to scheduling concerns or material delays (due to COVID). In short, they treated me the way you hope to be treated as a customer, and I could not be more pleased with the final results.

I called Rockland Fence to install a fence in my backyard. Matt came out quickly after I reached out. I had a very specific vision and several aspects would require customization. I wanted horizontal layout, with parts double boarded, I wanted a reddish finish on the wood, and a gate that wouldn't be too heavy. Matt listened to everything. He was professional, responsive, open to my ideas, and really wanted to understand my vision and make sure I was happy at the end. He was super helpful in selecting the best wood for the project, problem solving when I insisted on not losing trees, etc. When the project started, Matt remained in close contact with me, checking in pretty regularly, and coming by when I had a concern or question, and figuring out a solution we agreed on. Pete and Ed installed the fence. They were stellar! Friendly, polite, super helpful, and always professional. They showed up every day at the same time, and worked hard throughout. They took their time when it was needed to ensure I was happy - they seemed to really care that I was getting what I wanted, and were responsive to my questions/comments. The quality/craftsmanship was top notch (and believe me, I'm not easy to please!). My only complaint was how long it took to get started. I first met with Matt in June 2020, we agreed on a mid-August project completion, yet the project didn't start until October 5, 2020. Some of the delay was due to lumbar delay given COVID, so out of Matt's hands. Still, it was disappointing. In the end though, I'm THRILLED with the beautiful fence they built! Overall, it was a great experience! I highly recommend this team! They are TOP NOTCH PROS!

Rockland Fence company was very easy to work with. They were quick to come out, quick to provide a quote, and very good about keeping in communication and following up. Jim Gillooly was my primary contact person, and he was very professional. We are very happy with the final product of the fence. The two gentleman who installed it were very pleasant, professional, and helpful, and did a very nice job with it. We would definitely recommend Rockland Fence, and in fact we have already recommended them to one of our neighbors!

Project was delayed by material manufacturing delays related to Covid 19 according to the company. Other than that the installation was done in a couple of days, the installers were careful and the fence looks great.

Estimator came, provided me with a quote via the email but never responded back (via phone/e-mail) when requested for availability. There's no communication whether they wanted the job or not.

Matt did the initial consultation. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and detail-oreinted. The fencing materials were subject to distribution delays due to Covid, and Matt was responsive to our inquiries and provided updates regularly including apologies for the delay and any associated inconveniences, even though Rockland Fence was not at fault. The fencing intallers were prompt, courteous, respectful of person and property, and were meticulous in the installation process. The service provided by all was of the highest quality and level of professionalism, and the results are a beautiful fence that really enhances our quality of life. Very highly recommended.
