He installed a frieze board and fixed some rotten siding on a dormer along with other various siding and window trims work The quality of work was excellent and very professional Good quality craftmanship and high work ethics coupled with good communication and very friendly. "I’m very pleased with the service and work I received from Timber Wolf contractors and his crew. He contacted me and arranged a time to look at the work I needed done. He promptly sent me a quote. He set up a time between our schedules to build my spiral staircase and replace a window with a vent. He arrived on time and completed the job beyond my satisfacon. I was so pleased with the results and communication I received, that I hired them to come to my other home to install "Flooring for my sunroom, pantry and hallway. They also painted trim and upgraded my hardware on my kitchen cabinets. I felt very comfortable with Timber and left him a key so I could go to work. I highly recommend Timber Wolf contractors for your home projects, they are professional, polite and hardworking. Respectfully, A. Saint"

"Chris, and his team, are AWESOME!!! I canâ t say it enough; finding a contractor that you instantly gel with is tough. Chris made the entire process; from first meeting to close out, seamless and easy. Wondering if you made the right choice for a contractor is a tough decision. Chris is down to earth, easy to talk to, and very assistive throughout the entire process. He will shop with you to figure out what your looking for and offer great perspective. If your thinking about a project; and want a GREAT ONE, have Chris come out and price your project. We arenâ t done using him for other projects yet either!"

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

When building a house, it is customary to use 16d nails that measure 3 1/2 inches in length to construct the frame. These nails are crucial in providing the necessary support and stability for structural elements like joists and studs, which ensures a sturdy framework.

For a professional carpenter, installing a window seat can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, depending on some aspects of the project. Aside from building the seat itself, if they have to remove any cabinets, shelves, or baseboards, that will add time to the project.

Bump-out additions can extend anywhere from 2 to 15 feet from an existing room. The right size will depend on how you plan to use the new space. For a cantilever bump-out, which doesn't require additional foundation support, the limit is typically 24 inches (2 feet). If a footing and foundation are part of the project, a bump-out can be much larger, even encompassing a whole room. It's also important to remember that many residential properties have limits on the total house size relative to the lot size.

When choosing a drywall anchor, consider the weight of the object you're hanging and how much weight the anchor will need to support. The heavier the weight, the stronger the anchor you'll need. You’ll find the weight capacity on the packaging when shopping for anchors.

Also, remember that you can use more than one anchor when hanging something on the wall. If you're using multiple anchors, divide the object weight by the number of anchors to determine how much each will need to support. If you need help deciding which drywall anchor to use, you can hire a handyperson to hang your objects.

Building a barndominium means converting a barn into a house. Barndominiums are becoming popular as spacious and stylish alternatives to typical housing structures. Old barns that become houses traditionally consist of wooden construction. However, newer structures, such as pole barns, often contain metal exteriors and roofs. Converting a metal outbuilding into a house presents an excellent opportunity to create a barndominium from metal.
