"Luke and his brother did a fantastic job with our kitchen and living room floors. They replaced the carpet in the living room with hardwood flooring , sanded and stained the kitchen to match with the living room. They were very accommodating in meeting some challenging schedules and worked the weekend to make up for delays caused by us. They take pride in their work and it shows. The floors look great, they even accommodated a last minute change to the finish to make sure we were 100% satisfied. We loved working with them and highly recommend them for your flooring projects!"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We HIGHLY recommend Juniors Hardwood Floors! We had a repair, refinish and new install job and are very happy with the results. It's rare to find a company that has the craftsmanship to repair and match flooring. EVERY other company that we reached out to wanted to tear out and install new flooring....I believe it was because it is difficult to repair and match. Juniors flooring did just that and it is beautiful! We would get a text with their ETA each day and when we needed them to return for any reason, it was no problem at all. Again, we highly recommend them!"

"I hired Danny in May 2025 to sand and stain my wood floors. From start to finish, Danny was polite, professional and thorough. He arrived on time, worked efficiently and I had a great experience with him. I wish every contractor I worked with was like, Danny! He was patient to answer all of my questions and I couldn't be happier with the satin finish he recommended. Strongly recommend for your flooring project!"

"I installed my own floor, then had Footprints come in and perform the sand and finish. In addition to the new floor, they refinished some flooring installed in 2008. All I can say is WOW! They nailed it. The finish was smooth and perfect. If you are looking to have some floors installed or refinished, give them a call. Aaron will come out and shoot you a fair deal, and the work will be done right."

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:

  • Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.

  • Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.

  • Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.

  • Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.

  • Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.

Before property transactions or major improvements to ensure accuracy.

Professional well contractors may use electromagnetic mapping to look for places with a high likelihood of water. Water access can vary significantly, even on the same property, so it can be difficult to know where to drill if you don’t have specialized tools to look for water.

You will find a collection of licensed land surveyors in your area. Your real estate agent or construction manager may also be able to recommend a trusted professional. When speaking with prospective pros in your area, ask the land surveyor if they are licensed in the state, have liability insurance, and can quote you a fee before starting.

Prior to excavation, you should prepare the dig site and call 311 before you sign anything.

To get your site ready for excavation, you should move anything in the area that isn’t affixed to the land. You can save money on the excavation by removing hardscaping, including walkways, decks, concrete patios, and paver patios.

Before you carry out any digging, you should call 311 to confirm that there are no utility lines running through your excavation site. Skipping this step could lead to severe injury and property damage if your excavator hits a water, sewage, or gas line.
