"I had absolutely no problems with Front Range Electric. They showed up on time. They even found and fixed a couple of outlets that where wired wrong."

"Jesse reviewed the circuit breaker issue that I was having. He fully understood the problem and let me know what the options were. He advised me that it was something that I could do myself, but I chose to have him do it, as he offered a very reasonable price and I felt I'd rather have a professional do the job. He was most pleasant to work with. I will keep his info in case I have any other electrical problems in the future. I recommend Persistence Electric to anyone having electrical problems."

"I posted on Nextdoor in the Banning Lewis Ranch community looking for help with a light fixture repair, and Andrew from C2 Electrical Solutions responded. He was professional, friendly, and did outstanding work. He quickly fixed the issue, and I’m extremely pleased with both the quality of the repair and his customer service. I highly recommend reaching out to him if you need any electrical work done."

"The service provider had the wrong assignment directions but completed the desired assignment nonetheless. I requested instillation of two track lights in a 15 foot vaulted ceiling. The worker had â installation of power plugs.â"

"Todd Chaney is an exceptional electrician. He has completed work for me on a mechanic shop, a vacation rental, and a mixed‑use retail building, and the quality has been consistently excellent. Todd understands the full construction process, which makes him highly effective at diagnosing issues and installing or repairing electrical systems in any situation — residential, commercial, or older structures. I’m hiring Todd, with Pink Brick Electric again this spring to handle major electrical work on my 1880 Queen Anne Victorian. Projects like this require experience, precision, and good judgment, and I trust Todd completely. He communicates clearly, gives honest and thoughtful feedback, asks the right questions, and respects the homeowner’s perspective. Working with him is straightforward and professional. The Pink Brick is a company built on integrity, and I recommend them without hesitation"

"Excellent service! "Mister Sparky" far exceeded our expectations! We had had 2 other electricians work on projects at our house and were very disappointed with their limited knowledge/poor quality of work. Nathan arrived on time. Nathan knew what needed to be done, explained what he was doing and completed the work in a professional manner. Nathan is a gem - someone who knows what the heck he is doing and makes sure the job is done correctly. We will definitely hired this electrical firm again! We would definitely recommend "Mister Sparky" to anyone who is looking for superior electrical service!"

"I had 2 other internet technicians look at my internet cables, they both said I needed a very expensive fix. I looked around and found this company on Angie and right away they said they could fix my issue and not be overly expensive. I’m a renter too so I couldn’t just start cutting into the walls, not only was Liam very nice but he had a ton on knowledge and made this super cost effective and renter friendly. Will use them for any electrical need I have in the future!"

"We ran a coax cable through our older home. It took longer than expected, and was more expensive than anticipated. The quality of the work seems good, and the customer service was great. I have concerns about the internal electrical wiring within the wall after drilling, but have not noticed any problems at this time."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can put a dimmer on a three-way switch, but it can’t be the same kind of dimmer you’d put on a standard light switch. A three-way switch requires a three-way dimmer. If two switches control a single or multiple lights, then you need a three-way dimmer. The type of light bulb should also be compatible with your fixture and dimmer.

Yes, a water leak poses a major fire risk at your home because water is a conductor of electricity. Water that comes into contact with sparks or electrical wires can instantly ignite flammable materials. Additionally, any type of exposure to water can cause wires and other electrical components within your home to corrode. When assessing categories of water damage, it's important to know that even a small amount of moisture near wiring could cause sparks that lead to a fire.

Window ACs use 500 to 1,400 watts per hour of electricity, while mini-splits use 500 to 700 watts per hour. However, if you need to cool multiple zones in your house, your mini-split can use as much as 2,000 watts per hour. How often you run your system will impact how much electricity you use (and how much you pay per month).

Yes, a hot or overheating outlet is a fire hazard and can cause a fire. An outlet becoming hot indicates an electrical problem, such as an overloaded circuit, loose connections, or a faulty component. The heat from these issues can ignite nearby flammable materials like curtains or furniture. If you notice an outlet is hot to the touch, turn off the power at the circuit breaker, unplug any connected devices, and consult a qualified electrician. If a fire does start, use a Class C fire extinguisher or baking soda to suppress it, or evacuate immediately and call the fire department.

Light switches can last for decades when installed and maintained correctly. Improper wiring, heavy wear and tear, or too much wattage draw can cause light switch failure long before the expected end of a light switch’s life. Light switches that are hot to the touch, making a buzzing noise, or failing to work consistently should be inspected to find and repair the underlying cause.
