"This was the best experience! I really didn't want to go to any of the big national companies and the small local ones wouldn't return our calls. "Got new vinyl siding, gutters, and a couple of new windows for my house. I got 7 separate quotes for this work from other contractors and HWC gave a much better price than most (though were similar to some other quotes I received). My house looks a million times better and the workmanship was good (a few minor things were addressed following the initial work). They showed up when they were supposed to and overall did a good job. Given the large number of projects in the area, it did take a very long time to have the work completed (contract was signed in September, work was completed in mid January. But, I think that is the norm for many contractors around here). Communication was somewhat lacking (especially early on in the project) and there were some initial hiccups in the process due to a lack of communication, but they did a good job in the end and communication improved. The actual project, once started, was finished efficiently and looks great. For the price compared to others, it was worth dealing with some of the issues encountered.
