"Brent is extremely knowledgeable, hard working and dedicated to finding a solution. He worked for hours diagnosing the issue with my HVAC before finally finding the issue, and only charged me for the work done in fixing the issue. He's the only guy I'll be calling for HVAC maintenance and repair going forward"

"Mariano came out and prepared the estimate for my new furnace and air conditioner. He, his dad and brother installed both units, repaired some of the ducts and configured the electronic. All the while he kept me informed on the status. They cleanup nicely at the end of the day. Excellent to work with. I highly recommend their work and integrity."

"I would suggest you drop all other services and go with this one only. This service man is far beyond the skills and service of all others. I had one show up in car and a back pack. He looked at and said he would send a quote ?????? My furnace is out , its late and the temp outside is 0. Tony Bertolini repaired it less then a hour with no parts. This is a man that knows his S!!! and is more than worth his charges. When the weather starts to warm up I will call him to install a new one . [ I will call no one else .}"

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

The decision to put your AC unit on the roof or ground depends on the climate in your area, the roof shape, accessibility, and budget. If you live in a warm climate or don’t have existing ductwork, it’s likely best to stick to a traditional AC unit that sits on the ground. However, if you lack yard space, live in a mild climate, and have easy access to the roof, your home may benefit from a rooftop AC unit.

No, you should not run an air conditioner with a Freon leak. If you think your AC unit is leaking refrigerant, shut it off immediately. When you keep using a leaky air conditioner, it could damage the unit and release more refrigerant. After turning off the AC, have an HVAC pro come take a look at the unit.

The standard rule for return duct sizing is that the return vent should be the same size or larger than the supply vent. This will ensure balanced airflow in your home and reduce strain on your HVAC system.

Yes, it’s normal for an AC to drip water. In fact, it’s part of the dehumidifying process that takes place inside your AC unit as the condensation trickles down into the drain pan. However, it isn’t normal for your AC to sound like it’s running water or have large puddles around it. If that happens, you can try the solutions listed above or call an AC repair pro.

Yes. Return air vents are responsible for gathering and pulling in the warmer air. Once they draw it in, your system conditions the air by removing the warmer molecules from it, allowing your air conditioner to dispense the cooler air back into your home. Not only does this create a more comfortable environment for you, but it also keeps your air conditioner from overworking, resulting in lower energy bills.
