"Carl really needs to work on his customer service skills. His wife is delightful, but Carl is extremely rude, confrontational, abrasive, and not willing to offer a positive solution. Carl came out to my new build in Hartsel to do the "Gold" Water test. Upon arrival he was mad that he actually had to go down into the crawl space. Actually the plumber on site said he was tired of Carl complaining, so he went down and got the sample for him. Carl received a sample from a well that had not been run in 18 months so I knew it would be turbid. Called, paid his wife over the phone and eagerly awaited my 2 weeks to receive the results. 2 weeks came and went, no word from Carl... Called on a Thursday, left a message to see how the results were going... No return call... Waited 5 days to call again. Finally got carl on the phone and he explained my well was not suitable for consumption. I explained that I needed help understanding the report, to which he got irritated that I was asking questions. I then asked him questions regarding my well depth which he wrote off as, "How would I know, I am not a well guy." Keep in ming he had just offered a $15,000 whole home R/O system and I was a little shell shocked. This in turn turned into a screaming match back and forth because he wasn't a "Well guy". I know, he's just the Culligan man, but I would assume that he would have some general understanding to the simple question I was asking. His wife took the phone from him and apologized for his behavior and said she understood my point of view. It is a shame that Carl is the Culligan Man for my area. I will not be using him, and letting everyone else know how unprofessional and unhelpful he is."
