I hired Laney to replace the filter and UV light in my SpringWell water filtration system and had him perform a flush on my Rinnai Tankless Water Heater. The maintenance on my tankless water heater and replacement of my filter went flawlessly. However when it came to replacing my UV light Laney informed me that when he pulled the UV light out he realized that the sleeve the light was placed in was broken and he would not be able to install a new light due to this problem. Laney was adamant that he found the unit in this condition. I contacted the original person who installed my system and he explained to me that if the sleeve was in fact broken water would have poured out of the UV light system. He was certain that whoever opened this system did so incorrectly thus causing the damage to the sleeve and loosing the compression spring which secured the light in place. Laney informed me that the UV light was not needed anyway. It appears I was lied to about the mystery of the UV light.

I had water leaking from my hot water heater and needed a same day replacement. Lanney with American Plumbing and Sewer did an outstanding job for me. Lanney provided an estimate over the phone. The price, quality of product, and same day service beat the competition. Lanney and Eric arrived on time, were highly competent, personable, and professional. I would highly recommend American Plumbing and Sewer for any plumbing needs.

Lanny and his crew replaced all the existing plumbing (rusting galvanized pipe throughout) and replaced the leaking hot water heater. He was very easy to work with, we had some extenuating circumstances, that they graciously accommodated. The price was excellent and the workmanship was even better. Highly recommend!! Not only did they save us from spending $2000 more with one one the “other” big chain companies, they took my job on late Tuesday night and showed up right on schedule Wednesday morning to to replace our water heater. No “additional” fees either! They were totally professional and cleaned up everything after the job. Lanney, also gave me multiple options vs. the one option replacement which I really appreciated as other companies did not. Had a tankless water heater go out in a Sunday night. Submitted the Angie request and Laney called me within 30 seconds of hitting enter. He scheduled an appointment for the next day, and get this they don’t charge a “service fee” for diagnosing issues, that’s right no charge to come out. The communication was amazing and he showed in time. We decide to replace the current unit and he didn’t the next day! Another surprise he didn’t ask for any money up front! He and his son Austin showed up the next day on time and do the work. We had hot water in roughly 5 hours. They are very thorough and clean. He laid carpet protector everywhere and vaccine when complete. In my recent experience with contractors there aren’t many out there like these guys. Honest, communicate, show up, do the work. Any plumbing issues I have at any of my properties American will be the first call!

American Plumbing & Sewer provided us with top notch service from beginning to end. We needed a new water heater, I called on Monday, Alan was out on Tuesday to give us an estimate and by early Thursday afternoon we had our new water heater installed along with a water softener/purification system. Lanney is extremely personable yet extremely professional at the same time. The workmanship was fantastic and he explained things to us along the way. Lanney's assistant, I believe it is is son, Austin, is a fantastic person and he is also extremely knowledgeable and very proficient. When you contact someone blindly off a referral service, you really take a risk. Believe me Lannie and his crew are well worth taking that risk! He was contacted at a little before eight in the morning to replace a water heater. He had the job completed by 4:00 in the afternoon even though he had another job to do before us in the morning.
