"Samual came on time. He was respectful. he diagnosed the problem and cleaned out the clogged pipe. He tested it and although the drain ran freely he said something is not right and took the pipes apart to find even more grease within the pipe. He gave me a lot of preventative tips as well. I will use this company for all my plumbing needs."

"We had been dealing with our shower slowly draining for about a week. After reading their reviews, we called California Plumbing. They used a hydro jetting machine to clear out years of buildup and our shower is draining much quicker. So satisfying!"

"Al Cyr the owner is as professional as it gets! He worked very hard at unclogging my drain that had a root mass blockage from a ficus tree. Unfortunately, he could not cut the root because it was too large and suggested a company who has the equipment to cut through the root mass and view it through a camera. Al was honest, fair and knowledgeable and I would definitely hire him again as well as recommend him."

"First, I called Vista Plumbing for an estimate. Ray, the plumber, listened to our concerns and explained what he could do to help with the rattling problem with the pipes and the hot/cold situation in the shower.  He gave me a number for the part needed (under warranty) and asked me to call when the part was received.  Next, when the part was delivered, a time was arranged and Vista Plumbing was here within the week.  In one day the water pipes were clamped and the shower faucet was replaced.  Now, everything concerning the water pipes are good.

I was happy with the service, the knowledge, the expertise, the punctuality, and the kindness.  In the beginning, he spent a lot of time listening to our concerns and answering our questions.  In the end, I received a clean, professional job.  I would recommend Vista Plumbing to my friends and family.

I also would like to mention the woman who answers the telephone and makes the appointments.  She was wonderful and helpful, very upbeat.  It was a pleasant experience talking with her."

"and Ryan are icing on the cake!!!Today we went to use our kitchen sink and noticed it was clogged. We tried everything but nothing worked. We had used Liberty in the past and were VERY happy with them. We called Liberty around 2:30 pm and our sink was fixed before 4 pm!!! Jeremy and Ryan showed up and were fantastic. Not only were they punctual, they were extremely professional. They knew exactly what they were doing and wasted no time in getting the job done. They are both nice, friendly and they do quality work. Liberty is our "go to" for plumbing problems. Jeremy and Ryan are just the icing on the cake. We highly recommend Liberty Plumbing.

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Once you’ve poured the baking soda and vinegar into a drain, you should wait about 10 minutes for the mixture to break down the clog. If you try the baking soda and vinegar method and it doesn't work, you can do it again or try the baking soda and salt trick.

Yes—your local septic company can clean your septic leach lines with a sewer jetter, a device that pumps high-pressure water through the lines to blast out any clogs and scum buildup. Unless there’s a clog or blockage in the lines, however, you do not need to perform this maintenance regularly. Do not attempt to clean your own leach lines, as you could easily damage them, leading to very costly repairs.

A bit of water in the bowl can help unclog a toilet, especially if you're using a plunger. However, if the bowl is full to the brim, you'll need to strap on gloves and remove some of the wastewater in a cup or container so it doesn't overflow when you try to unblock the pipe. If you're concerned about it filling further, manually close the flapper in the toilet tank or turn off the water supply to the toilet.

Yes, frozen pipes can prevent a toilet from working correctly. If the pipes are frozen, water cannot flow, which means your toilet tank won't be able to refill after a flush. This will prevent the toilet from flushing again. Depending on which lines are frozen, the ice can also block the drain pipe, preventing water from flushing away.

As a temporary workaround, you can manually add water to the tank for each flush. To clear a frozen drain pipe, you can try filling the toilet bowl or tank with warm water and flushing to help thaw the ice. However, the best long-term solution is to unfreeze the pipes to get your toilet back in working order.

Clogged pipes are one of the top signs your water heater is about to fail. Potential symptoms of excess sediment buildup include not enough hot water, leaks, unusual noises, low water pressure, and discoloration or odors in the water.
