"They safely removed a 60'ft oak tree that was diseased missing bark in large areas and efforts to revive it after the Camp Fire 5+ years ago didn't work. All Green Tree service downed by sectioning and cleaning branches with that chipper/grinder. They kept their safety promise, grinded both stumps below ground level and did a fine job for a good price. Thank You, Michael C. 2-15-24, (530)246-1755..."

"I had 4 very large oaks trimmed in a hard to reach area. They had industrial equipment and a 4 man team. Phenomenal, professional job. Safely removed limbs and had me inspect as they went to make sure they were cutting far enough for my liking. They raked, cleaned up piles and mulched branches. Left my house, nice and neat with a new "haircut". Couldnt be more impressed with their service. Bonus, my neighbor saw their work, loved it and they stayed later trimming her trees. They were eager and happy to work. They were tree perfectionist! Great job guys! Kyle"

"It was all we expected. I will recommend them to others. There is one time that they're working that time on me. He received a call that needed their service. He came in even he is 80miles far. He was able to take care of the dangerous tree that no other tree service wants to take off."

"I had a great experience with Loggers Unlimited Tree Service. The customer service was friendly and helpful, and Gio and Allen were very informative. I was very happy with the service, and I would definitely recommend them to others. I was pleased with the work, and although the price point was high, it is understandable considering the work that went into it. Here are some of the things that I appreciated about Loggers Unlimited: They were responsive to my initial inquiry. They came out to my property to do a free estimate. They were very clear about the scope of work and the cost. They were on time and professional on the day of the job. They did a great job of removing the trees and cleaning up the debris. Overall, I was very happy with the service that I received from Loggers Unlimited. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs tree service. Pros: Friendly and helpful customer service Informative and knowledgeable staff On time and professional Great job of removing trees and cleaning up Cons: Price point was high, but understandable considering the work that went into it Overall: I would highly recommend Loggers Unlimited Tree Service to anyone who needs tree service. They are a great company with a team of experienced and professional arborists."

"Matt was extremely easy to work with! He was 5-10 minutes early for both estimate and tree removal. He gave me an estimate on Friday and came back Monday to do trimming. He came & asked me to check out what he had done & to see if he missed anything. He completed trimming & totally cleaned up after. I highly recommend him to anyone needing tree trimming, he also cleaned up all my broken branches!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

If you’re wondering why tree trunks are painted white in your area, it’s usually to prevent sunscald, a condition where extreme shifts in temperature can cause tree bark to split. Fruit trees are especially vulnerable to sunscald, so this treatment is worth considering if it’s something that affects your trees.

Yes, it’s okay to trim low branches on a tree, also known as limbing up or raising the crown. Essentially, you’ll trim the lower third of the tree (trunk) and leave the upper two-thirds of the tree (crown). Arborists recommend trimming 20% of a tree’s leaves per season for two to three seasons. Trimming low branches allows light to flow through the tree, increasing circulation and making the tree stronger and healthier.

You can shape a cherry tree by trimming vertical branches, dense branches, and intersecting branches. Your personal aesthetic comes into play, as well. If you want to simply thin and shape the tree, you can get away with trimming the aforementioned parts of your cherry tree. If you want to shorten branches, however, consider thinning cuts, which alter the length of the branches while encouraging light penetration, new buds and shoots, and a structurally-sound shape.

We recommend removing the stump, and grinding is a popular way to do it. You can also dig out small stumps or stumps that have fully decayed instead of grinding them. However, don’t try using acids or fire for killing a tree stump, which is a fire hazard and illegal in many areas.

Leaving the stump alone invites eventual problems, including attracting termites, mold, and fungi.

Costs reflect the size of the tree or shrub, the complexity of the task, location accessibility, and disposal needs, and comprehensive quotes vary accordingly.
