Gold Country Tree, Inc.

Gold Country performed defensible space compliance at my Tahoe Donner property. They removed about a dozen marked trees, cleared brush, removed pine litter, ground stumps, and pruned branches overhanging the 3-story roof. The only reasons they did not earn 5-stars are that one marked tree was overlooked (the ribbon was obscured by foliage) and one raked pile was forgotten in the rear of the property. Otherwise, it was very easy to work with Amanda at the office and they were able to get to the job a day earlier than originally projected. Scott's reporting was also excellent.

Arrived on time, did the job and cleaned up in under two hours. Even blew off the neighbor's driveway! Excellent service and really fast. Highly recommended.

Great company, my tree was leaning over my house from on top of a hill. They did an amazing job removing the tree and keeping my home safe. And they really care about helping veterans. I’ll use them for all of my projects.

When I called Gold Country Tree and spoke to Amanda she said Scott would be out that afternoon to review what needed to be done and give me an estimate. He arrived promptly and gave me a good estimate and said he would follow up with a formal bid and contract. I signed the contract snd the work was scheduled the following week. I was pleased with the tree trimming removing the dead wood from several oaks and a tall pine. They also cut down a cottonwood and ground the stump. Cleaned everything up and were finished in two hours or so. Excellent crew and professional!

I received three bids for my job, and Gold Country Tree Service was in the middle. I hired them because Scott advised me about some additional work that should be done for fire safety around my property which he could include in his half day price. So I paid a little more and I feel that I got great value.

I got quotes from 3 other tree and shrub removal companies and Gold Country was the obvious choice. I paid them more than the quote price. Arrived with a team and finished the job on time. Experts at what they do. They did a perfect job. If I need more work done they will be who I call.

After checking on Angi, I received a few names for tree trimming companies in our area. Gold Country, Tree Inc called me within 20 minutes. We agreed upon a date and time for an estimate of the job that I needed to have done. We have a very large tree in the confines of a mobile home park. The branches hung over common areas along with other homes. Not only was Scott Arnold interested in the job, he gave me a very fair estimate, so we hired him and we are glad we did! Scott and his crew are professional and happy, hardworking people. They did everything they promised including completely cleaning and removing every bit of debris from the tree from all areas.
