"Donald was excellent!!Never expected my ash tree to look so refreshed and healthy after removal of the ivy ( almost from the ground to the top of the tree)Honest, hardworking. He was at least $400 under the next lowest estimate. He was spot on his estimated time frame. . He is now my go to arborist for any of my work related to trees. I would recommend Donald at Arbtrek to anyone who wants excellent work for an honest price!! Just incredible!!"

"Douglas, the owner of On Deck Fence and Landscaping, is extremely professional and very responsive. He made sure to be available for any questions or concerns we had and was more then willing to go above and beyond to get us the backyard we wanted. His fence team did an awesome job getting our redwood fence up fast and they also removed two trees all the way down to the roots. Douglas’s landscaping crew did a fantastic job installing beautiful pavers throughout our entire backyard and made sure everything was clean and nice when they were finished. I would 100% recommend On Deck Fence and Landscaping to anyone looking for competitive pricing, fast/efficiency and a true, honest landscaper. Douglas will make sure you are happy from start to finish."

"This crew was extremely good at what they do, the lead crew member was respectful and he had his crew trained well enough that they worked together like clockwork and as a team and I could tell safety was their priority. I stood by from afar and observed as they brought down my 70ft over-grown Pine tree with ease and cut the stump down to the ground. They also trimmed my 15ft bushy-hedge tree down at Kama'aina rate. And to top it off, I asked them if I could have some fire wood and they actually cut-up a good stock pile for me with a good sense of good feeling. The price was the lowest bid among three other tree companies and you cannot go wrong with OHANA Tree Bro's. I would highly recommend this company to friends and family. They haul away every thing and clean up when their done. Good job Ohana!"

"Jose and his crew are very easy to work with. They have transformed my property and landscaping into a beautiful garden. It hasnâ t been this beautiful in years. They have pruned all of my roses and cleaned all of the garden. They have also taken care of part of my property that burned due to fire damage. They are real gardeners, not just â mow and blowâ . I am so fortunate to have hired him."

"Nick and his guys did a very excellent job trimming my very big tree. They got all of the dead branches trimmed. They also did a good job on cleaning up all the branches that they cut off of the tree. Definitely would recommend their services. Also the price they quoted me was a responsible price for the size of tree they trimmed."

"Pio came on time and did a wonderful job. We had many weeds to deal with and he took care of them all. He also trimmed bushes. He also hauled the weeds and trimmed items away. I was very happy with his work. I would definitely use them again!"

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
On average, removing a tree costs around $750, but you can expect to pay between $200 to $2,000. Factors that impact the overall cost include the number of trees you’re having removed, their height, the diameter of their trunks, permits needed, and the tree’s accessibility. You’ll pay more if the tree is in a hard-to-reach area or dangerous location, like close to power lines.
Landscaping costs around $3,500 but varies widely from $200 to $14,000. Factors that play a part in your final landscaping price tag include:
Location
Yard size
Project size
Materials
Land preparation
Type of landscaping
Considering so many factors, it’s not surprising that the overall costs can differ. A typical landscaping project is flower bed installation, which averages between $800 and $3,000. However, landscape lighting installation is a higher-end project, with a price tag of $2,000 to $6,000.
Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.
