"We felt so lucky to find Cipriano and his crew. We completely redid our sizable backyard to convert to drought tolerant landscape and aspired to do as much of the work as possible ourselves, but knew we'd need help on some of the bigger, more complicated jobs.
We first found Cipriano for our irrigation. He had the best pricing and got his crew out and right to work so that we could catch up when the project was a bit behind. We played a bit of phone tag before finally getting work scheduled, but between phone and email we finally connected and got everything taken care of. He gave us options and made helpful suggestions for how we could keep costs down now but leave options open for future improvements. 
Immediately following that first round of work, we had a small leak elsewhere in the pipe system that may or may not have been related to the work his crew did. Still, Cipriano came right out and assessed the problem and helped us fix it. 
During the course of the irrigation work I mentioned we'd be doing DG and he said his crew did that as well. He showed us some impressive pictures that reflected the smooth curves we envisioned for our project. We still talked to a few other vendors but once again Cipriano had the low bid. So several weeks later, when we were ready, his crew came out once again and did an amazing job laying out our perfect paths and patios along the lines we sprayed out on the ground. It was a big chunk of work but with many hands on the job they were done in two days. 
With the paths we also had, not so much a problem, but an unanticipated outcome, where because of the curves some of the board began to shift and come away from the paths. Once again, Cipriano and his crew came right back out to not only fix the problem, but give the entire patio and pathways a fresh resurfacing just to make them look there best. We were so impressed by the extra lengths he went to and the obvious pride he took in his work. 
As our project wound down there were a few days when we needed help moving materials, planting, etc. We'd had such great experiences with Cipriano and his crew that we asked if we could hire 1-2 workers for the day and he was happy to help us. Those extra bodies made the final stages go so much faster and smoother!
We love our new yard and a lot of that is due to Cipriano's the great work and affordable rates. We've recommended him to all our friends, and know that he is in demand. So if you have to spend a little extra time on the phone or email, it's totally worth it!

"They were very professional in scheduling the appointment, and showing up on time.  However, because we have the future patio still as an enclosed room (we will remove it so that it will become open-air), they couldn't give us a true-cost estimate.  I completely understood that it was because they couldn't be accurate with knowing how it would attach to the house, etc, since we still have the room enclosed.  He was very helpful, explaining what they would need in order to give us a better estimate, so hopefully when we're ready to move forward, we will give them another call.

"Our backyard was in need of a redo: We struggled to grow grass, and we wanted a space that would accommodate a trampoline and a small garden, as well as a dining table and sitting area, but still feel green and lush. After meeting with a few landscapers who suggested we get rid of the trampoline, rip up our existing brick patio and put pavers everywhere, we met Alisa from Motti's team. As a landscape designer, she really listened to what we wanted, and had great ideas for how to incorporate it all, as well as suggestions for garden planters and furniture. A week after our meeting, we got detailed plans that showed us just what the yard would look like, as well as what plants would look and work best. We then worked with Motti to tweak the plans, finalize the budget, and pick out materials, etc., and we were able to schedule the project within a few weeks time. Once the job started, Motti's team of workers were professional and efficient, and Motti stopped by daily to check the progress. "We found G & L through Angie's List. We called and set up an appointment with their designer Mike. We had some ideas of what we were looking for in transforming our front and rear lawns to a drought tolerant concept. We also wanted to change our existing slate patio into a tiered wooden deck and install new fencing. Mike was very responsive and had great ideas and came back to us quickly with an amazing plan. After finalizing the design plan, we met with Mike and Dee, the contractor, and the work began. The crews that have shown up for each phase of the project have been very friendly, are very neat and clean up at the end of each day. Dee and Sharon have had excellent communication with us as to what to expect each day and been very patient with us with all our questions and decisions. We are nearing the completion of our project and couldn't be happier with the results.
