"Excellent professional job. Hector and his crew demolished an old crooked concrete block wall and rebuilt a new sturdy one with rebar and footings. The team then stuccoed and painted the wall and it is beautiful! The job site was kept as clean as possible during and after the project. I would highly recommend Block-Crete Construction!"

"Joseph really has eye for design and construction, in the beginning I had it all planed out in my mind but I was unsure of the real application. He helped me put on paper and very professionally told me has to be done to get the job done. There is no cutting corners with this guy, once he starts he has to have everything done to perfection. It was unreal from start to finish, the team cleaned after the job, and made sure that the back yard was spotless. I am really happy with the work Joesph, thank you very very much this is just a way of telling world of your great skills."

"Nexxus did a fantastic job, in February of 2022, removing sidewalk, concrete stairs and driveway, replacing the houses water supply, forming and placing new concrete, including iron work for a new custom gate and handrail. Tony was the quickest contractor I’ve ever worked with. They were ready to work within a few days of original contact and completed at least a month’s worth of work in one week."

"Mr. Parks and his workers were thorough, polite and efficient. My gutters were full and badly clogged because of several years of neglect. They removed all debris from my roof and dug out the gutters by hand until they got water freely flowing through the downspouts. It was a positive experience from beginning to end."

"I called CXC Contracting because I had noticed uneven floor in one room of the house. Will Crawford inspected the concrete slab under the floor and performed accurate measurements of the house leveling inside and outside the house. Despite the uneven floor, he concluded that the house did not need any foundation repair and that the uneven floor was caused by imperfections of the concrete.slab. He spent a lot of time in my house and provided an objective assessment of the house foundations not influenced by considerations of personal advantage. He provided unbiased recommendations about how to improve the floor leveling. I was very impressed by his professional ethics and technical knowledge. I will certainly trust Will in the future and I recommend him to anybody.

"They did an amazing job! The driveway came out amazing as well as the process was easy and non disruptive. They were very nice and easy to work with with and the final product came out outstanding. Definitely would recommend for any future projects similar to mine. The turf in the front yard as well came out wonderful. There were no folds in at all and it looks very natural and elegant. Thank you guys very much for the work."

"Regal Construction & Remodeling transformed our outdated kitchen into a space that we absolutely love! Ben was phenomenal – he kept the project on track, was always available for questions, and ensured everything met his high standards. The team’s craftsmanship is second to none, especially the cabinetry and tile work. They worked quickly but didn’t rush, ensuring everything was perfect. They also kept the worksite clean, which we really appreciated. The whole process felt seamless, and the final result was worth every penny. Don’t hesitate to hire them for your remodel – they truly are the best."

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The exact time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it must fully harden to ensure that added weight from walking, furniture, or vehicles won't shift the concrete slab. A professional contractor can advise you on when the surface is safe to use. For comparison, if you use polyjacking instead, the polyurethane foam can dry in just a few minutes, but it's best to wait about an hour before use.

Concrete leveling is not typically covered by insurance. In some cases where the shifting concrete is caused by a natural disaster or storm, you may be able to file an insurance claim if your policy specifically covers those circumstances. In most cases, though, you’ll pay out-of-pocket for concrete leveling.

A sinking foundation can be lifted, most often by installing piers to re-level and support the weight of the house. Depending on the cause and extent of the sinking, other methods to lift a foundation include underpinning and mudjacking. Consult a foundation repair pro to determine the best way to lift your sinking foundation.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.

Generally speaking, push piers—or steel piers—are the best option for underpinning, as they reach down to solid bedrock to find support for your foundation rather than relying on soil, which could be subject to the same issues as the soil directly below your foundation. However, the best underpinning method for your home depends on your location, how far down the bedrock is, and the type of soil in your area. Helical piers are usually the best option for sandy soil or in areas where the bedrock is too deep to use steel piers.
