He quoted a price that was so reasonable that I was concerned it might not have included haul away and stump-grinding. It did. I offered to pay a bit more because it seemed low. He said it was fair. Fast forward to the following week. The Rancho crew showed up on time--rare in my experience these days. They were polite, did what they said they would do, and closed the gate on the way out. This was a tree removal and I can't tell you how Rancho is with tree trimming, but I intend to give them the opportunity to show me next time around. Thank you Rancho for your professionalism."
