I spoke with Barry, and gave him the scope of the work with estimated square footage of concrete. After he gave me a verbal estimate, he came to the house to measure the area to cement a very accurate estimate. And he did this at NO CHARGE. His estimate was not only the most reasonable and Barry so incredibly personable, but he is also licensed and bonded, and with his excellent reviews AND the fact he does NOT sub-contract the work out, this was a no brainer. His attention to detail was amazing, from measuring to-the-inch where the lines in the driveway should be scored, to making sure my newly-set clothes line pole was perfectly straight, he was always there to make sure it was perfect. He had great ideas on the finish of the driveway which really customized my driveway so it was n ot just brushed pad of cement. My last minute change to add a second step in front of the front door to make a landing area was easily accommodated. Barry has the kind of ethics you want in a contractor, and I wish I could use him to do all the jobs around the house."
