B.R. Sheldon Concrete

I have used many contractors, across 30 years and four homes, and I have to say that B.R. Sheldon Concrete is the best of the best. I spoke with Barry, and gave him the scope of the work with estimated square footage of concrete. After he gave me a verbal estimate, he came to the house to measure the area to cement a very accurate estimate. And he did this at NO CHARGE. His estimate was not only the most reasonable and Barry so incredibly personable, but he is also licensed and bonded, and with his excellent reviews AND the fact he does NOT sub-contract the work out, this was a no brainer. BR Sheldon Concrete it is. Two days of prep and the third day to pour/pump the cement, Barrys team, which included Barry by the way, was always on time and did everything he said he would do. His attention to detail was amazing, from measuring to-the-inch where the lines in the driveway should be scored, to making sure my newly-set clothes line pole was perfectly straight, he was always there to make sure it was perfect. He had great ideas on the finish of the driveway which really customized my driveway so it was n ot just brushed pad of cement. My last minute change to add a second step in front of the front door to make a landing area was easily accommodated. Barry has the kind of ethics you want in a contractor, and I wish I could use him to do all the jobs around the house.

Wow, where do I start! I can't say anything more about Barry and his team that has not already been said. You just can't help but like these guys. Barry works right along with his crew, Mike and Randy, and instills the confidence that the job will be done right, and on time. As a home owner it was a pleasure working along side Barry, who was open to listening to the customer as well as offering quality input. They arrived on time and finished on time. They all performed impressively, and give me a beautiful stamped concrete walkway that would rival any other in the neighborhood. So many people have stopped by to express their approval and appreciation. I think this project has inspired many neighbors to consider stepping up their own game. Many many thanks Barry. What a fabulous job you did. I'll submit photos once my artificial turf goes down.

This is a very professional group to work with. On the initial visit, they were timely and very detailed with the specific rundown of the work they were anticipating doing, as well as giving a good rundown of what to expect on the day of the work. After everything was complete, I had a question about how the concrete was supposed to look and rather than give me some half-baked phone/text answer, Barry came over to the house and personally inspected the site. I couldn't be happier with the overall experience.

The Customer Service by Barry Sheldon, Owner is outstanding!!! He arrives at the initial consultation appointment, and is there on the tear out day and continues to be a part of your remodel until completion. He has excellent insight into what you would like and provides the necessary photo's and suggestions based on your home, he is always available, He takes your project personally as if he were remodeling his own home. Barry was great! On schedule. Took the time to talk about the project and the steps required. Work site was left clean. Pricing was solid from the beginning. I will be hiring B.R. Sheldon again for my next concrete project.

Upon our request, Barry submitted a prompt estimate for concrete work in our backyard. His price was the best of 4 bids we received. Work was thorough and completed timely. His communication was excellent throughout the project. We are very happy with the result, and would highly recommend B.R. Sheldon Concrete.
