"OMG!!! Best. Experience. Ever. Noe and his team are amazing and very BEST in business. Noe is a true Pool Master with an incredible experience. The Man knows EVERYTHING there is to know about pools/spa/decks/pluming/whatever...He helped me so much with design and layout. My pool and spa were built 70 years ago, and both had issues on top of being plainly cracked, leaky, old, and ugly. The spa was covered for the last 5 years and was literally brown inside with holes and broken jets. They went above and beyond any call of duty to bring my pool and spa up to speed for 2021! I took a chance on fiberglass and I'm soooo happy that I did! Everything looks brand spanking new, clean, and gorgeous!!! Fiberglass feels amazing! I'm a perfectionist and a professional designer, in other words – OCD-picky-control freak with high expectations :))) and I'm blown away, all expectations exceeded! If you want your pool to be just right contact these guys, their prices are super reasonable, and they take such an old fashion pride in their work! I wish I had a second pool, I loved them and their work so much! SUPER highly recommend!"

"The crew was a bit late to get started, but did a good job once they arrived. They carried my stuff up to the 3rd floor since the elevator was very small.
Had some trouble putting the bed back together but overall a fine job. Some damage to my items, but don't know where along the line that happened. It could have happened in transit.

"The Job went great from start to finish. Scott was our main contact and he was very involved in the project from the beginning. The work was done on time and in a very professional way and the end result is a pool that looks brand new! All of the workers that worked on the project were polite and courteous and the work area was cleaned up after each work day. I would not hesitate to recommend Aqua Concepts."

"We liked Rick and Lucia from our first meeting. They really understood what we wanted to do with the house. Rick is uniquely talented, combining the practicality of a builder with the creativity of a designer. He helped us with many suggestions and basically came up the look and design of the kitchen and baths. We loved his ideas but had to wait a while for his actual bids. We were pressed for time and we had actually decided to use someone else, when we got their bid at the very last minute. Our initial plan was to add a laundry room, reconfigure the kitchen and enlarge the master bath and cosmetically redo the rest of the house for around $120,000. The project got bigger as we went. Midway Rick convinced us to take out a wall and completely open the kitchen. This meant also reframing the ceiling to take the extra load and increasing the cost. It was a hard decision but in the end it completely transformed our house! The house was built n 1939, so the plaster couldn't be patched well so we decided to take it all out put in new drywall. The old cloth electrical was a disaster waiting to happen so we replaced that as well. The roof was rotted and water damaged and we wound up replacing the whole roof with new plywood and 40 year roofing. Rick's design for our baths, especially the master bath are just beautiful, the travertine stonework is just gorgeous. Rick's crew are great guys. They do first rate work, they show up everyday, they work really fast, they clean up everyday. They are polite and considerate to us and our neighbors. They work hard but seem to have fun at the same time. Rick even surprised us with a barbeque lunch he cooked in our own backyard for us and all of the guys! The majority of the work was done in about three months. The windows were delayed over three weeks and ended up stopping work because so many city inspections depended on their installation. Then we delayed the project for a few weeks because we couldn't decided on the all of the paint and stain color combinations. In the end it took just over five months to complete the project. This is incredibly fast if you look at the extent of the work. If there is a downside it is that Rick's crew work so fast that Rick has a hard time to keep up with the paperwork. We often would get change orders to look over after the work was already finished and we didn't know what the costs were until then. Often they were higher than Rick originally told us verbally. To be fair, though, if we had a problem with the cost, Rick was always willing to work with us on it. Our house turned out much better than we ever thought it could be. Our friends are amazed at the transformation and we love to show it off."

"John was available to start the work on a Friday afternoon. He installed the new outlet competently and completely. However, John made three trips to Home Depot to pick up supplies. The store is only 2 miles from my house and the first trip took over an hour. He needed to come back the following morning to complete the work because he needed two longer screws. Finally, he had quoted $200-250; but charged me $300 because the "supplies cost nearly $100.""

"The concrete and gate install went relatively quickly. The patio cover required permits which took some time. Once received, the patio went up quick and the planter brick repair was also quick. Overall a good partnership that I will hire again."

"I need this job done on a rush basis. I was aiming for 1 week and they claimed that they can deliver. However, it took them an extra four days.
some problems with this job.
1. Subfloor joist and anchor ( 6 x 2x6 and 4 concrete anchors); Some miscommunication happened here where the plywood floorboard was installed before concrete anchors supports were installed.
2. Whatever you want to call it, I was at the job site every day, and the workers are late. Foreman could not be be found until the last phases. Everyone was confused about the job.
I payed my schedule on time and promptly,

"It went very well. Everyone was very informative. They kept me up to date with the process and whenever I had a question, they were really prompt with their answers whether by email or phone. They were on time when they say they will begin work and the guys that installed my solar panel and inverters were very clean. I mentioned that I'm very worried about leaks because my son is very sensitive to mold and they made sure to seal everything very well n show us the work they've done and ask if we see anything that needs to be addressed. I was very pleased with the whole process. And it was easy, they took care of everything."

"They started on time and kept to the terms of the contract. Rafi, the owner, was on site every day. He definitely has the eye and the knowledge to know what looks good. He also knows design trends so that the result looks contemporary yet timeless.
The work was performed with minimal disruption to the household. They moved all the furniture and put it back in place. I had bagged many items that were sitting on the floor and they disposed of the bags for me. The also hauled away old furniture that was bring replaced. There was no extra charge for these services.
The floors are beautiful. They installed the wood laminate on the stairs as well and it looks great, with bullnose on the stair edges.
Everyone who comes to the house comments on the floors. And the laminate has a wonderful grain in it that looks identical to real wood, but no scratches from dog and cat and it really seems impervious to everyday traffic. It requires very little attention to keep looking great.
All in all a very professional job, finished on time with a great result. They even kept an eye on the pets so they didn't run out of the house.
They have done other work for me, including putting on a new roof and cleaning up a room where water had come in from the ground in a heavy rain and then installing a drainage system so it hasn't happened again. They also refinished the ceilings in several areas of the house, taking out the "cottage cheese".
I've been very pleased with the results of the work and the manner in which it was performed. I will definitely continue to use this company for future work."

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

No, you should only choose high-quality wood to build your sauna. Not all types of woods can withstand the pressure from heat or moisture. Only use softwoods, such as cedar and aspen, that are known for absorbing heat and resisting water.

It will take several hours or more to build a sauna. A prefab kit will take anywhere from three to 20 hours to install, depending on complexity and your skill level. If you’re doing a custom build, it can take more than 50 hours—especially if you need to add ventilation, ductwork, and other renovations.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.
