"Ken and his contractors were knowledgeable, and innovative in their extreme attention to detail. When Ken came out to do the quote, my husband and I already had a concept of what we wanted, but no idea how to execute it. Ken assured us he knew exactly what we wanted, and that he could accomplish it, and he was right! From his many years of experience in all areas of contracting, he is extremely knowledgeable, and very skilled at actualizing your vision, so the details that the customer sees as obstacles are just small items to be planned and executed for Ken and his team of very professional employees. The tile installer was always punctual, and professional. He paid attention to detail, which was necessary for a feature wall. He worked through what I thought were frustrating moments (since our wall is bowed out, and somewhat complicated to tile cleanly) with a great attitude, and excepted the challenge with zeal, and produced exceptional work. All of the tiles line up, each tile is flush with the next, and it is a seamless design. Ken was present more than once a day to collaborate, and supervise progress on the job. The installation of the specially designed custom hearth support went quickly, the absolute granite slab was fabricated and brought to the house ready to install, and it was beautiful. The whole job went smoothly, and turned out beyond what we had envisioned. Not only would I use Affordable Tile Installation again, we are! In a few months we will start a kitchen renovation, and I am actually excited instead of dreading it because with Affordable Tile Installation on the job, I know I can expect professional, and skilled work with functional and beautiful results. Under difficult circumstances due to my condo buildings strict rules Enner managed to get my job done under that had a tight deadline as I wanted the work done before I moved in to my condo. He picked up the tile I had purchased from the store and set to work removing the carpet and installing the tile in my bedrooms and closets. Because my condo is in an older building we discovered that the floor was far from flat. The guys made sure to level my floor whilst laying the tile. Enner and his guys were conscientious, hard workers and kept everything neat and clean. "George laid out what needed to be done and how he'd do it when he came to bid the work and was also willing to complete some of the half-finished work done by a previous, unexperienced contractor. He didn't try to creep the scope during the course of the work and understood our financial constraints. When we found the need to make a few changes, we negotiated a fair price for a few small add-ons. When the wall repair was much more involved than initially estimated, he brought it up but didn't demand reimbursement. I offered compensation based on what we agreed was fair but didn't feel pressured. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves given how messy leveling floors, cutting tile, and grouting seem to be. My only suggestion would be to work with George on every detail beforehand as I had made some assumptions about aesthetics that may not have been particularly conventional but hadn't communicated them to George. Showing images of how you'd want something to look when it's done will go far in insuring you get what you're after. That having been said I was given some good advice from Felipe on what the height of the kitchen backsplashes should be in our particular case, and from George on which grout would be best suited for our floors and have no regrets having followed those suggestions. In our case, we supplied most of the materials as per George's recommendations. If you want your project to move as quickly as possible, I'd suggest making a list with George of what materials you'll need, what you'll be picking up and what he'll be picking up, and having everything ready on the first day because they waste no time in getting the work done. In short, both George and his colleague, Felipe, work very efficiently with a high level of craftsmanship and I'll hire them again the next time I need tile work done."

"Cielo construction did a complete remodeling project of our kitchen and two full bathrooms. The work included new cabinets, marble counter tops and raising the lower ceiling in kitchen by 2’, removed all the popcorn ceiling around the house, fix the necessary spots at the ceiling & paint, installing new tile floors in the living room, dining room and entry hall, installation of ceiling fan w/lights in all rooms including all the bedrooms and replace the fireplace/mantel. Repaint all the interior walls. The whole design was done by the designer of the company and she did a perfect job. After the work was completed and done, I can say that this was a top notch work that was done by professional people. The new cabinets are particularly excellent and they fit like a glove and added so much beauty to my kitchen. The job took few weeks longer than what Nir estimated at the time of reviewing and planning the work schedule, the delay made sense because of few problems that they found out after the demolition of the walls and due to a minor delay with the supply of the cabinets and marble top (which is normal and things happened during this type of big remodeling projects). Nir communications skills were excellent and even with my list for minor things that needed his attention & correction upon completion. Nir did fixed all the items without any problem and with a lot of professionalism."
