"This was my first purchase of a Angie's List special.  I am very pleased with this company.  The provided excellent communication, prompt response, on-time arrival and a bargain for the amount of work that was done.  They restored the areas I requested.  I would recommend them and WILL definitely use them again.
I choose this company because the work to be performed was minor & it seemed to me that several of the granite companies were looking for bigger jobs, based on the amounts of money that was spent by reviewers.  I use this technique often for vendors.  I do not like to be overcharged, nor do I like compnaies to try to sell me additional stuff.  I use a "don't contact me - I'll contact you" approach and do not like unsolicited marketing or advertising (including from Angie's List).
I bought the service over the weekend.  The owner contacted me during the weekend to let me know that he was not able to telephone me because the number listed in my Angie's List account was old and was no longer my number.  I gave 3 dates for the work to be performed, and they were able to come out this morning - just a few days after requesting the service (and over a weekend).
The technician arrived at about 8:30 am - the service was scheduled beween 8-10 am.  I showed him what I wanted done and he began work immediately.  He worked quietly and efficiently.  He was here nearly two hours and restored the areas I requested.  There was no extra charge and he did not try to sell me anything else (I like that).  I am very pleased with the work and the price.  Last week I hired a plumber that charged me $99. just to get to the house!

"Ken at Affordable Tile is easy to work with and does exceptionally good work, and his prices are fair and reasonable. Ken and his crew did a complete shower remodel for my home. They demoed the old shower and then rebuilt a new shower from the studs and floor up. Work included framing the substructure of the shower and then an awesome hot mop job, and then they framed and floated the floor, bench, and walls. The tile work was so beautiful it nearly brought tears to my eyes. I bought modern tiles with size 13” x 39”, so Ken and his crew had to cut every single tile, and every cut was spot on, and not one tile was broke or wasted, it was unbelievable. The finished product looks terrific. I also loved that Ken always let me know when he would arrive, and always showed up on time and put in a full day of work. The whole job took about 8 days, and Ken and his crew cleaned up at the end of each day, and kept my home free of dust and debris. I would highly recommend for any shower remodel or tile installation."

"Enner and his team were wonderful. Under difficult circumstances due to my condo buildings strict rules Enner managed to get my job done under that had a tight deadline as I wanted the work done before I moved in to my condo. He picked up the tile I had purchased from the store and set to work removing the carpet and installing the tile in my bedrooms and closets. Because my condo is in an older building we discovered that the floor was far from flat. The guys made sure to level my floor whilst laying the tile. Enner and his guys were conscientious, hard workers and kept everything neat and clean. If Enner was unsure of anything he always phoned me to make sure he was on the right path as I was out of state when he started the job. His tile work is stunning and I couldn't be happier. "George laid out what needed to be done and how he'd do it when he came to bid the work and was also willing to complete some of the half-finished work done by a previous, unexperienced contractor. He didn't try to creep the scope during the course of the work and understood our financial constraints. When we found the need to make a few changes, we negotiated a fair price for a few small add-ons. When the wall repair was much more involved than initially estimated, he brought it up but didn't demand reimbursement. I offered compensation based on what we agreed was fair but didn't feel pressured. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves given how messy leveling floors, cutting tile, and grouting seem to be. My only suggestion would be to work with George on every detail beforehand as I had made some assumptions about aesthetics that may not have been particularly conventional but hadn't communicated them to George. Showing images of how you'd want something to look when it's done will go far in insuring you get what you're after. That having been said I was given some good advice from Felipe on what the height of the kitchen backsplashes should be in our particular case, and from George on which grout would be best suited for our floors and have no regrets having followed those suggestions. In our case, we supplied most of the materials as per George's recommendations. If you want your project to move as quickly as possible, I'd suggest making a list with George of what materials you'll need, what you'll be picking up and what he'll be picking up, and having everything ready on the first day because they waste no time in getting the work done. In short, both George and his colleague, Felipe, work very efficiently with a high level of craftsmanship and I'll hire them again the next time I need tile work done."

"We met with few construction companies in order to remodel our kitchen and all the bathrooms at the house which at the end of all the meetings… we decided to hire Cielo construction. We met with Simon and during all the meetings that we had, he spend extra time to really understand what we want to achieve, what is our style and preferred design. This was a huge plus for us because we felt that he really care about our project and not only in making money. We needed to expand and upgrade our kitchen by moving the laundry space to the garage and removing a wall between the dining room area to the kitchen. This made us the exact open space and entertaining area that we wanted. More than that, we replaced some of the windows so we can have natural light. In the kitchen we added an island with 6 seating that will face one of the windows overlooking the back yard. The team of Simon guided us to make the remodeling stress free including helping us with the purchase of all the cabinets, floors, marble, tiles and appliances. We are very happy with the whole remodeling and the new kitchen beat all of our prospects, converting our entire home. We will keep recommending Simon and Cielo construction."
