"J.T. Trahern set up an appointment with us within a week that we had called. My husband and I were very impressed with his knowledge of windows. Our job was somewhat different, as we were creating new windows where sliding glass doors used to be, and we wanted the windows to be retrofit. J.T. told us how to do this. Also, my husband is very particular about the size and layout of the grids, so the factory faxed to us their drawings before creating the window for his approval. "Not too bad. The work itself was amazing but there was some delay in getting the glass to actually fix our window. It was supposed to be completed on a Saturday, but he had to order the glass that we needed (insulated I believe). They took forever to get him what he needed. Rescheduled for Wednesday but the glass still wasn’t ready until Thursday afternoon. Finally it was completed yesterday 10/15. He was quick and efficient and although he updated me ever step of the way, I still feel like it could have been a little smoother on when the glass would have been ready. I’m happy with the result and he did an amazing job (can’t control everything :))"

"We recently hired Kristina and Jared to do a floor-to-ceiling
cleanup after having our home remodeled. With plenty of dirt, grime and sawdust
everywhere, and me being, admittedly, very picky about cleaning, it wasn't an
easy job. Based on the list I gave them, they decided to bring extra help, and
they worked away for at least half a day?floors, counters, bathrooms, windows,
carpets?I even asked them to clean the tracks of the sliding glass doors. They
did everything I asked efficiently, enthusiastically and with a smile. They
went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied with the job.
When I had concerns about some streaks remaining on the windows, they re-did
all the windows and glass doors. When I asked about a film that seem to remain
on the new flooring, Jared explained to me that he believed this was normal and
would take a few cleanings to dissipate. Nonetheless, he re-mopped the floors
again for me, just to be sure I was happy (I think they mopped them at least
three or four times!) Bottom line is, great job, great attitude, nice
people!

"I shopped around with other window and stucco/paint contractors before I chose Approved Contractor. Justin gave me a very detailed quote and worked with me to help me decide and define exactly what I wanted. He convinced me to go with the elastomeric coating over doing a re-stucco job because of its benefits of heat reflection, waterproofing, and it was basically the same price when you include the painting of all the eaves and trim on the house. I received a very fair price for each of the items and services, so decided to go with him for my entire home improvement project. Everything went quite smoothly despite delays of materials from suppliers due to COVID. Justin kept me informed as to progress of the manufacture and delivery of the windows, and was very responsive to my questions. The subcontractors he used to perform the work were all very skilled and professional. There were quite a few different people involved because of all the different things I was having done, so it got confusing at times when someone came to the door to do the day's work. In all, it took about 1 week to install 25 windows on my 2 story house (including sliding glass door), and 1 week to do the prep and paint/coating work. A few thousand $ in extra, unexpected expenses popped up, like replacing some dry-rot wood, extra stucco work around my new front door, and extra tiles for the new roof area, but Justin offered most of those additions to the contract at cost. I also know that there are often unexpected things that happen with new construction or reconstruction that cannot be seen and bid on beforehand, so I didn't feel like I was being taken to the cleaners with the extra costs. My house looks beautiful now, and I feel I made a very good investment, and a very good decision to go with Approved Contractor, Inc."
