"We started researching last summer how much it would cost and what it would entail to have our asbestos siding removed to prepare for our foundation to be repaired. We got three different bids, and San Diego Painting was right in the middle of the bids as far as cost was concerned and Al Canales, the estimator, struck me as being very concise about the job and I liked his attitude. We did not have the work done until March, but Al was very patient and understanding as to our anxiety about the job, since this is our first home and our first attempt at major repair. The forman for the job, Victor, was very professional and careful when removing the siding so that we could preserve the old wooden shingles underneath......which was a critical part of the job. "Due to dry rot, we were in need of having a header and joists replaced to repair our deck. Since the deck planks were an obsolete type of TimberTech composite, care was needed not to damage them while replacing the header and joists.
