The project included removing walls to open up the space, adding a large kitchen island, new flooring, and building a custom entertainment area around the TV. Rapha managed the project and was great to work with. He kept us updated, stayed on top of everything, and was always easy to reach when we had questions. The hardest part was dealing with the city and inspections. There was a lot of back and forth and some unexpected requirements, but HQ handled everything directly with the city and made sure it was done properly without putting that stress on us. He genuinely cares about quality and creating the best outcomes. For us, this involved discussing many possible solutions. He suggested adding braces of both wood and metal to improve the structural integrity of the gazebo. The metal braces are a critical component that he derived from the specific windy conditions of our property. Then he researched this addition and figured out how to shape them to the unique structure of the gazebo. He did a beautiful job of adapting an imperfect structure into a safe and beautiful one. He and his team were diligent, working through extremely hot weather to finish our job on schedule. He was fastidious, and always cleaned the worksite before leaving each day.
