I hired Better Together Builders for a major home renovation and have paid over $130K toward the project. While some work was completed, my overall experience has been disappointing due to delays, unfinished tasks, and a lack of attention to detail. I am currently pursuing legal action against this company for their failure to fulfill contractual obligations and for the damages caused. Specific examples from my project: • Electrical work was left incomplete, requiring me to hire a licensed electrician at my own expense to finish it. • Several areas were installed without proper preparation, resulting in chipped slabs, misaligned cuts, unpatched drywall holes, and exposed wiring. • Communication and follow-up became inconsistent, and I often had to chase updates to keep the project moving. • Extended delays caused me to lose months of potential rental income, while I also had to pay for temporary housing. This review reflects my personal experience and is not intended to cause harm, but to inform others. If you decide to work with BTB, I strongly recommend documenting every stage of the project, inspecting work before releasing payments, and ensuring all contracted items are fully completed before signing off.

Stuff happens, and this business knows how to handle it! We had a stain on the ceiling. Ofri from BTB came over and turned on the water from the upstairs bathtub and then the shower stall. The ceiling became moist after the shower was turned on. Ofri then came back with a plumber. He turned on the upstairs bathtub. After they left, water dripped from the ceiling. Ofri had the plumber immediately send over a team for a service call. They broke open a hole in the ceiling and found that a pipe leading to the bathtub was so rusty it had holes. They took videos showing other pipes leading to the bathtub were also very rusty. While the team was still there, Ofri gave us prices, sent over the paperwork and the pipes were replaced within a of couple hours. Fabulous! Ofri had thought it would take a lot longer to complete the plumbing work. Therefore, her pricing did not align with the actual work performed. She brought in Alon, who substantially reduced the price to our satisfaction. Their responsiveness and reasonableness earned them my highest rating. Thank you Ofri, Alon and the BTB team!

Our contractor, Better Together Builders, did a lot of work (listed below) and they did it on time and within budget. We were new to the world of construction and remodeling so it has definitely been a learning experience for us. In August 2023 during the estimate with our project manager Tal, we asked to move into our house within about six weeks (end of September) and he said they could do it and they really did pull it off, even despite a handful of change orders! The subcontractors and workers hired by BTB were professional, courteous, hard working and performed at a high level of quality. Most of the patching and painting was so well done that it is very difficult to remember which walls were patched and what anything looked like before, which is the whole point, and feels like magic when you really think about it. Tal was responsive and organized and calm and collected and followed up every few days, juggling a tremendous amount of work, and patiently putting up with our stream of questions and even numerous (minor) complaints. As in any large project, some small hiccups did occur, but Tal and the team took responsibility and eventually everything was made right. In an ideal world we wouldn’t need to worry about this, but in the real world it is important that BTB showed that they would do right by us, even for small things that needed to be corrected. They gained and retained our trust. If you can hire a contractor as reliable and honest who can deliver exceptional results like Better Together Builders you should count yourself lucky. After completing this phase of construction, every day we look around the house and we are still impressed with what we accomplished together.

Meeting Tal and his team was a delightful experience as they demonstrated integrity, hard work, expertise, and offered competitive prices. Despite numerous changes requested by us, they successfully finished the project on time. The project involved diverse tasks like renovating the kitchen and bathroom, installing flooring, drywall, stack stones, and indoor and outdoor tiling. Each task was executed with meticulous attention to detail and within the agreed-upon schedule. Additionally, I would like to express my appreciation for the team's dedication and respect for our privacy throughout the project. We had the opportunity to become acquainted with most of them and thoroughly enjoyed their presence.

Better Together Builders successfully implemented two closet systems for me, incorporating frosted doors on the larger closet. The entire process, from the virtual consultations to the design and planning phases, proceeded exceptionally well. The installer arrived punctually and demonstrated remarkable efficiency, completing the task single-handedly. Previously, I would conceal our clutter behind closed doors, but now I take pleasure in leaving the closet doors open without any reservations. The end result is truly stunning!

Our experience with Better Together Builders was truly exceptional! We engaged Yoti to undertake a comprehensive transformation of our backyard, encompassing the installation of a new paver and porch, as well as landscaping and lighting. Nightmare! First day of construction crew cut through ceiling joists and wall studs. Project manager dismissed the seriousness and insisted we wait until inspection. I kept at them for weeks to do proper remediation but they pretended to agree and then attempted to hide the damage with ineffective cosmetic fixes. When they realized I was planning to share my concerns during inspection the job foreman finally showed up, made notes and had the crew make corrections up to code. Trash was allowed to collect for weeks until our yard looked like a junk pile. A port-potty had been contracted (and paid for by us) but didn’t show up for weeks. In the meantime we witnesses the crew relieving themselves over the hillside. The last straw came when they did not follow their own measurements and made the shower so big that our new vanity wouldn’t fit. Without talking to us their solution was to gouge trenches out of two side walls and force the vanity in so it became embedded in the walls. I am still doing cosmetic repairs to cover up this last fiasco. Throughout the project the communication was erratic, we saw the job foreman only five times during the entire remodel. The Project manager was obstructive and I have since found out, never informed the company of the structural damage that had been done and seemed to want to get by without substantive repairs. I wish we had never had anything to do with this company and cannot recommend them under any circumstance.

There are numerous companies available for selection, but I made the correct choice when I opted to proceed with Better Together Builders. Amidst numerous challenging decisions, I am grateful that I selected them.
