"Excellent customer experience from beginning to end. Alex was very professional, honest, and not aggressive for my business. Huft provided $4,000 in rebates and a $1,600 promotional credit for an electric HVAC system upgrade! The installers were prompt, expedient, and considerate to not make a mess. The workmanship was great in the interior attic and for the exterior condenser. They cleaned-up afterwards and left no trace or trash. They even ran diagnostic tests after installation and provided the written results with follow-up 6 months later to inspect and make any adjustments. I would highly recommend Huft Heating and Air Conditioning for a new HVAC install."

"when we had them replace our entire unit there were on going issues over a long period of time. both galligers and we were very frustrated as it seemed that the problems were never going to be straightened out.. the manufacturer was of little help in resolving the problems. galligers never abondoned us. they were at our residence continually. they would overcome one problem just to have another arrise. they were always pleasant and rapidly responded to our requests. finally, after many trips to our home, the person in charge ordered us a whole new unit from a different manufacturer. they did this without the cooperation or support of the original manufacturer. since that time they are preforming the standard maintaince checks for us and the new unit is working wonderfuly. although we feel that the new unit should have been installed much sooner than it was, we feel very appreciative to galligers for their stick to it. their customer service is excellent, their people very professional and their customer loyality outstanding"

Customers say: True professional

"We hired McCormick to remodel our master bathroom, and the process couldn’t have been smoother. Khaled guided us through everything, and his team was skilled and respectful. They handled the job efficiently, stayed within budget, and kept our home tidy. Now, our bathroom feels like a relaxing oasis, with high-quality finishes and a modern touch we love. McCormick’s attention to detail really made the difference, and I’d gladly hire them for future remodels. This experience was everything we hoped for."

"I own a business and had a company come out to fix our air conditioner. They came out 4 times, charged for all those time and the unit still was not working properly. I then decided to try someone else, so I called Thermotech on the referral of a friend. They came out, diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes (it was an old crumbling circuit board), showed me that bad part, ordered it and had it fixed in less than 24 hours. We have not had a single problem since! I was so happy with their service that I ended up using them for my home HVAC system.. I even referred them to a family member and they did a home install of a brand new HVAC system and they were very happy with the price, install, workmanship & fair pricing. Thermotech has found a customer for life with me. I have had so many bad experiences over the years with other companies telling & thermotech has been a game changer."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can clean your air conditioner filter as a temporary fix for cleaning up dirt, but you’ll eventually need to replace it once the dust starts to accumulate. Use a vacuum with a hose attachment to clean your air filter at least once per year or more often if you have pets.

Air conditioners can stop working in the middle of the night for many reasons. Your local power grid might shut down late at night. Power surges can also trip your breakers if too much power is being used in the area at the time. If your AC is connected to a digital thermostat, it gets naturally cooler at night, so the outdoor temperature might dip below the automated setting to turn the cooling system off.

One of the first signs of mold in an air conditioner is a musty smell. You're likely to notice the smell when the unit runs, from the air coming out of the vents or the unit itself. You may also be able to see mold growing on the unit, such as near the condenser coils or by the fan. In some cases, there may be visible mold by the vents.

ACs don't run on water. They're not connected to drain pipes or any part of your plumbing system. However, they need refrigerant to run. Refrigerant is a gas or liquid that has a low boiling point and absorbs the heat in your home. ACs need this in order to be functional and cool your home. If you suspect your AC is low on refrigerant, you need to contact a licensed HVAC professional. Refrigerant is a dangerous chemical that requires specialized training and permits to work with.

To keep a window air conditioner in good working order, you should clean the filter regularly, inspect the seals, and store the unit properly during the off-season.
