"I replaced one HVAC unit through Lee s Air last spring. From the initial quote to project completion everyone I interacted with was professional and knowledgeable. They answered my questions and provided updates along the way, arrived each day on time, and cleaned up the mess as they worked. I not only replaced a unit, but had to have two vents replaced, all ducting replaced, and my return vent doubled in size. I was pleased with how quickly them completed the task and that everyone I spoke with, in person and over the phone, knew the details of the job throughout the process. I m now finishing a winter inspection with the company and cannot say enough about how great this company is to work with. I highly recommend Lee s Air to anyone looking for quality and professionalism in a business choice."

"Before doing job, they performed a thermal inspection showing all the air leaks from construction seams of the skylights, spotlight canisters and vaulted ceilings. All the air gaps were sealed before adding the eco-friendly insulation and improving thermal efficiency. After job we noticed improved air tightness of house and less cycling of hvac systems and lower utility bills."
You will never look at your home the same when you see what "Stack and Draft” is doing to waste energy.
Window Replacement
When you heat your home the hot air rises and begins to “Stack” pressure on the ceiling until it finds an escape route around the many holes hidden in the construction where walls and light fixtures meet the ceiling. The hot air leaking creates a draft by pulling in cold air from outside.
Window Replacement
The more you turn up your thermostat, the more "Stack" is applied to the ceiling, accelerating the icy cold "Draft" right behind it.

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

No, it’s not normal for AC vents to drip condensation. A sweating AC vent is a sign of something wrong and can lead to issues like air duct rust or mold growth. Your HVAC unit might not be working efficiently because of a dirty filter or clogged ducts. Alternatively, your ductwork might not have adequate insulation, which allows the cool air in the ducts to meet the humid air outside, causing condensation.

Water buildup in your HVAC system is a cause for alarm. If water accumulates in your ductwork, it can drastically lower your home's air quality and create safety hazards. These risks include mold growth, damage to your HVAC system, and attracting pests that are seeking water into your ducts. Proper insulation and sealing of ducts can prevent this, and regular inspection and maintenance can address water damage problems before they become too severe.

DIY is possible for basic cleaning. Professional services handle advanced maintenance like recharging the refrigerant.

A frozen coil can cause permanent damage to your HVAC system and lead to costly repairs if not fixed. It can cause the unit to overheat and also cause the compressor to fail. It’s vital to turn the unit off if the coil is frozen and address the issue as soon as possible.

An air conditioner’s watt usage depends on multiple factors, including the type of AC unit, its size, and how often you use it. With that said, most central air conditioners consume between 3,000 and 3,500 watts. Meanwhile, window AC units use 900 to 1,400 watts, and portable air conditioners consume 2,900 to 4,100 watts.
