"Water Damage Recovery technician, Jason, arrived at the home the same day we phoned.  We explained that we had found some moldy areas in the house and had started cleaning them up.  We also had a mold analysis that we wanted him to look at and  tell us which types of mold on the list were especially concerning. 
Jason listened carefully.  He checked the areas and asked what we had done to date, he provided confirmation for some of our actions and advised further procedures that he felt would be beneficial.  Jason said his firm could bring out a team to remediate the areas, but that he felt confident seeing our progress to date and that the areas were not too extensive that we could handle it ourselves at considerable less expense.  We really appreciated that since we have more time and elbow grease than available dollars to resolve this mold issue. 
Jason checked several areas for possible dampness that we were concerned about -- he explained everything patiently and clearly.  He also helped with our mold analysis explaining which molds usually presented because of water damage.  Which mold was the one commonly referred to as "black mold" -- a relief to us since that particular mold was not detected in the dust sample that had been analyzed by the lab.  Jason even pulled back some carpeting (and then reinstalled it) to show us that there was no mold problem there when we expressed concern that the carpet might be contaminated. 
Overall we feel it was money well spent for the peace of mind we now have knowing we are on the right track and our mold issue is solvable without a major tearing apart of the house.
